It's too late for the senior players to introduce any sort of restriction or ban on alcohol.
The development tour can be though, and hope some of the younger players can see that they don't need excess Alcohol to play and carry that on into the pro tour, but I doubt the majority of them will.

Re: Players Champs 6,7 and 8
If it was September 2011 the 4 PC events were won by:
Barney
Anderson
Anderson
Burnett
So of them I'd say Richie was unseeded?

Re: PDC Unicorn Development Tour
Shouldn't make any difference as all the players should be up for this today.
First event of the year for most of them and some decent money on offer.

Re: Betway Premier League - Discussion Thread
Don't know about a great night of darts - it was certainly better than last weeks. One point wasn't enough for Bunting, he's now out of the running. Taylor was up for the match against Chizzy, but chucked away a point in the second match which could prove vital in a few weeks. Lewis did what he had ...

Re: Players Championship 3-5 Entries
Thanks for that Bram - maybe they need to start putting these on the same weekends as either the Challenge or Youth tours (obviously different venues - maybe 1 in Barnsley and the other in Crawley) Not practical - SES will have to have 48 match cubicles as well as another dozen practise boards yet ...

Re: Taylor thrashes Van Gerwen at Bradford
Taylor will always be favourite for the Matchplay and Grand Slam especially when it gets the best of 17+ legs
MvG will be favourite everywhere else but as Jenkins, RvB and Anderson has shown if you can get a decent start and weather the storm midway through the game he is beatable.

I believe Lorraine Winstanley came runner up in an East Mids comp the other week, defeating Jabba in the semi's!

Re: Actual per dart average
You're confusing darts with turns. Each player would have completed 5 turns but player a had thrown 13 darts and player b 15 darts.
The suggestion is that only darts thrown count to the average not keep throwing until each player uses the same darts number of darts.

Re: Actual per dart average
When you do dart by dart averages the S18 etc is not counted as a double attemptcrispy1978 wrote:It's like if you want 50 and go 18 D16, is that 1/2 on doubles or 1/1?
Same with players who say go S2 when left with 18 and their opponent is on >170.

Re: Comic Relief Darts
From what I saw it was ok - they need next time celebrities that have thrown a dart before rather than the Offiah's and Mortimer's who didn't look like they had picked one up before.
If it raises a few pounds for charity I'd rather they do that than show repeats.

The same question was raised about if you hit your D16 in one or three darts shouldn't you still be on 100% for doubles because you haven't actually missed unless you have missed all 3?!?!

The pro's tonight didn't look comfortable and Vine was playing for the townhall steps, so not a lot of jokes as a result but Tim Vine can play, if Fitton can turn it on they will win it.

Re: August World Series Events Confirmed
We're spoilt over here with the amount of professional darts on our door step. If most of us lived over there I'm sure, exhibition or not, we would be going to see it. Very similar to the NFL a few years ago, a couple of the teams came over for a pre season game, the fans supported it and now there'...
