Re: PDPA players pension pot idea

£12 Million in prize money was won by PDPA members in 2019 the fund would be rather large in a few years as it would be growing at over a million a year at 10%. I doubt anyone within the PDPA is suitable qualified to invest this fund. So someone would have to be foudn who could give at least an equa...

Des is a millionaire, that didn't happen by accident, he is obviously business minded.
He's not a millionaire their business accounts suggests otherwise.

Any 'success' he has had is down solely to marriage.

Re: Who did a worse job of running the BDO-Vote

Surely a simple choice

one is a multi millionaire successful business person able to sit and negotiate deals from the work floor to the boardroom

and the other

That isn't far off £50k just on travel costs.

Yesterday I was working out my own numbers - I travel over 200 days a year and last year I did 70 flights. All of my travel costs including F&B come to £28k. Where is the money going?

He has to be careful of competition laws , I'm sure he knows that ;)
What competition is there? Tommy et al long ago upset WInmau and those boards used at the O2 were harder than a non soaked log end board

What does that have to do with anything?
It means they play county as an after thought and would if given the chance or option be playing something more beneficial to them which then takes you back to my original statement

Re: Big meeting on Sunday

So you believe the grass roots need saving? The pure grass roots of darts ie pub darts problems don't come from mismanagement of the BDO. It's problems is the disappearing number of darts boards in pubs etc lesser numbers playing etc the JDC address this problem by providing a means or way for kids...

Re: Big meeting on Sunday

What a ridiculous question, not exactly top of the priority list would you think? Not really as any new initiative in darts is dead in the water without some kind of alignment to the professional game and if it is the case that to be affiliated to the PDC you also use their approved boards it makes...

Need to put the upset aside and make sure grassroots darts is looked after.
If you can answer this question but where do the PDC stand on makes of board used by anything affiliated to them ?
Is everything associated with the PDC bound to Unicorn boards ?

Re: Des Jacklin resigns

Steve Brown plays on the same tour he runs, does he? As for the WDC I had it in my head Cox ran it until Hearn came a-knocking. The question wasn't the same tour it was running A darts org whilst still playing the tour ;) Well Dennis Priestly was on the PDC board from shortly after its incorporatio...
