Re: Dave Boy Green- Bottle Job

From an outsider's perspective I can tell you that Dave is actually reasonably well known in darting circles, just not for any sort of darting talent whatsoever. He's this mythical entity a lot of people scour online to check up on and laugh at, a bit like Lee Hayes but I'd have the Scorpion down t...

Re: Will there be a darts boom in Japan after Mikuru Suzuki win today?

They've had darts for a long time in Japan. This hangs on the wall by my dartboard, a steeltip tournament I attended in Osaka in 1988. Was a pretty good setup and quite a few players. Very true if you check back you will see that Bristol , at the time, won the biggest ever cash prize darts tourname...

Re: 2019 Q-School

I see the talk on BDOF is if 3 of the 4 semi finalists that have gone to Qschool get a tour card will the 8 invites for the BDO for the grand slam change? I think it was inevitable after the performance of the BDO lads last year. I though it was pretty obvious that there would be only 7 invites ava...

Wonder why Scott Mitchell isn’t giving it a go?
There isn't enough time each day to allow for him to walk to the board to get his darts

Re: Will there be a darts boom in Japan after Mikuru Suzuki win today?

Lucky the PDC didn't try and use a 10 times ladies world champion to emphasise the inclusion of the ladies into their World Championship, And look how well that went and all that now proves is that a casual fan who was watching sky sports might now know her as the lady who commentated this year on ...

Re: Will there be a darts boom in Japan after Mikuru Suzuki win today?

For what it's worth I have been all over SE Asia to all the main BIG countries there more than once and have on my travels only ever seen 1 softtip board in a locals Bar in Hong Kong and outside of expat places I have never seen a 'proper' normal dartboard. However I haven't seen many places local o...

Given neither was even close to serving time, your comparison is well off. ;-)
Chris Mason v Taylor is closer with a little more thought

Les Wallace could be in with a shot as well if he has played someone

No point me repeating it, one of our moderators seems to be protecting a convicted criminal. Here's one for you Maishy also played Tony Eccles at the world's can you think of any other game where people have met in the worlds who have subsequently gone on to serve time at her majesty's pleasure ? On his day Steve was a very good player. Pretty sure he won a PC event and not many can claim that. He's also played in the PDC worlds a few times both at the circus Tavern & Ally Pally anyone who made them 7 times over an 8 year span is a pretty tidy player he's slo never been know to miss a bin w...
