They should twin it with a convention of the Brexit Party and then you’re guaranteed a sell out each time, going by the demographics.

Re: European Tour 2023

Didn't even realise this was free to Sky customers on Viaplay Xtra, rather than shell out for the mainstream Viaplay channels at £12pm.

The production quality against Channel 5 was excellent in comparison.

The 3,500 crowd last night was mental.

I notice that Ana is playing this weekend.

Presumably she’ll now be under the England flag and not Russia?

Re: Q School 2023

To be honest, it’s a rubbish format, but with so many players wanting to get a card (nearly 1000 PDPA members) there probably isn’t a great alternative. I’d argue there should be more places direct from the challenge tour… at least 8. And then Q School qualifies people for the CT rather than the Ma...

2 x 35 dart sets. Averaging over 128 in it.

Relentless.

Re: 2023 PDC World Championship - Road to the Ally Pally

I see the reaction in Germany has been massive to Clemens' run. If he gets to the final, could we see another explosion of darts like RVB caused in the Netherlands, but this time in Germany?

How many million tuned in for the QF - I saw that 1.5M tuned in for the L16 game.

In the doubles, not the singles events.

Re Beau Greaves, or anyone else who played during the World Championship, in years gone by, I believe you needed to be a full member of the PDPA to be able to play, which obviously would've DSQ you from WDF events.

28 countries are represented in the World Championship this year. Think that is one short of the most ever.

Tournament average was 78. The last development tour averages were around the low 70s.
Last Challenge Tour weekend was low 80s.
Last Women's Series weekend was low 60s.

Christian Kist v Max Hopp
Maik Kuivenhoven v Jimmy Hendriks

Kuivenhoven beat Vandenboegaerde averaging 110 in the Quarter Finals. Mario lost averaging 106.

Re: 2023 PDC World Championship - Road to the Ally Pally

104 players have entered today's strong West Europe Qualifier. This includes WDF #1 Jelle Klaasen. Unfortunately for him, a return to Ally Pally is over as he lost to fellow former World Champion Christian Kist in the Last 32; Kist averaging 95. Berry van Peer, Jeffrey de Zwaan, and Ron Meulenkamp w...

Re: PDC Women's Series 2022

Glad prize money for all the secondary tours is going up. Wonder where the PDC are getting the money from especially in this economic climate. Viaplay and DAZN? Will be interesting to see next UK TV deals as a I think ITv and Sky's run out in the next couple of years. They've been quite stin...

Re: PDC Women's Series 2022

The point I was making is that they are now putting the women's series on a par with the Challenge Tour; the latter which is of a far higher standard. There are a lot of decent non-tour card holders out there.

Re: PDC Women's Series 2022

Surely if the women’s series is getting a big prize money upgrade (and the Asian Tour too), the development tour and Challenge Tour should be too?

I did hear that the European Tour is on for a big increase as well - maybe up to £180,000 per event next year.

I watched the Porter interview recently saying they had ‘options’ and the players ‘knew what they had to do.’ It was clearly complete cobblers wasn’t it?

Asia Tour 2023

Considerable upgrade since before Covid. Probably going to end up being a $300,000 investment in prize money.
