Re: Heart of Dartness Book

Just started reading Justin Irwin's book last night. I don't find it boring at all, in fact some of it is hilarious if you like black comedy His knowledge of darts and the culture was so poor starting off, didn't know how to turn a board or had never even played on a pub team. Unbelievable really bu...

Heart of Dartness Book

Hi, Just wondering if anyone else read Ned Boulting's book Heart of Dartness? I thought it was a decent read, particularly the catchups with characters like Lazarenko that we don't hear too much about. However some chapters didn't have much meat to them, the chapter about Dick Allix seemed to end pr...

I remember that Legends Tour that was on TV with Dave Whitcombe and a few more, but it was panned after a year I think

Not as a regular.
Do you think he's articulate enough to be a pundit? Not sure he's cut out for it, he's liable to say absolutely anything at any time!

Re: 2018 PDC World Championship- Alexandra Palace, London-14th December 2017- 1st January 2018

The irony of the crowd booing Pipe for a bit of coughing and cheering Taylor to the rafters is obviously lost on 90% of the crowd. Taylor has done some unsavoury things in his time, one in particular off the oche, and was often observed "chatting" in the background while opponents were thr...

Re: 2018 PDC World Championship- Alexandra Palace, London-14th December 2017- 1st January 2018

So how much is that cough now gonna cost Pipe. Even though he was never in with a shot at the Premier League, thats gone out the window also he'll be massively booed in every match which could destroy his chance on TV and even the floor. So just to get to the 2nd round he could end up costing himse...

PDC TV....Rubbish Service

Just tried to sign up for the first time in a few years....and of course it doesn't work Get a payment error even though my card is valid. Why can the PDC not get their house in order when it comes to some of their online services? It was crap a few years ago and it still is If you wish to cancel th...

Re: Lakeside World Championships 7-15 Jan 2017

He's nowhere near the player that Martin Adams is.........and Martin's still playing competitively. The only thing that made Eric well known was his mouthy attitude and antics towards other players........not really the signs of a true champion. You can see by the changes to his throw over the year...

Re: World Championship final hits the headlines

I'd have sympathy for security here, basically two of them having a chat and not looking behind them caused this to occur. But even if they were doing their job, 4 guys jumping the fence instead of 2 would have lead to the same thing occurring.

I would gladly dish out a few belts to these muppets

How likely that this will affect his earnings on the exhibition circuit?

I must say he sounded drunk any time I noticed his tweets recently, always abusing someone or something!

Re: Live PDC - Absolute Rubbish

Knowing how the pdc operate I think they will care, as CJ says, you don't get to where you are today etc. without caring for the consumer. Would it still be Mr Allen that sorts out all things technological? If so I'd drop him or the pdc an email as they may not be aware of the issues, the contact e...

Re: Live PDC - Absolute Rubbish

Agree on all of the above.

I think the most galling is that there is no way to contact them, and the PDC don't seem to care.

Take your money and to hell with it.

The website too is complete crap, like Rout said it loads a video with full audio blaring even though you could be in work.

Does he have a day job, or will he make enough on the exhibition circuit?

Just wondering what usually happens these pros that slide down the rankings
