All you have to do to understand the why is look at the Lakeside stage. The BDO is stuck in the 70's both visually and mentally. Corporations want fresh and exciting. The BDO is the exact opposite. Same with the ADO here in the states. The ADO can't even grasp that best of 3 legs might be a bit dated.

Whole thing does seem a bit of a mess as we are in the middle of March and still no schedule.
