Re: My thoughts on new UK Open Calendar spot and ITV coverag
Having been to the Reebok on 4 separate occasions over the years, I must admit I'm greatly disappointed by the weekends event. Firstly I'm not from the North West so have little bias but it seemed like it had lost what made it unique. My main faults with the Reebok was that it was too small (packed)...

Re: Absolute Average When ? If Ever ?
Having spoken to Dennis about the practise game in question about 5 years back, he denied that it was to the standard of which Bobby stated. 49 darts? That's a no from the horses mouth.

Re: BDO WDT -Verdict
I can't help but think the BDO were a bit naive in planning the event. Firstly what is the BDO's obsession with seaside resorts? Blackpool is out of the way for many, and isn't so appealing in the first week of Feb. Manchester/Birmingham/London/etc would surely be more feasible. The idea of four qua...

Was gonna say they look a similar design to Tri-fins. I even bought some a few years back. They seem to fly very straight but they were too expensive and didn't do much for my game.

Re: New Boards Please
dartboard to buy. Ive had a Winmau Masters, Harrows Matrix (Extremely thin wires, but not the best quality) & 2 Blade 3's. The Blade 3 is very durable and marks dont appear after lots of usage, and there's very few bounceouts. Played on Ecipse Pro at comps and pub and it seems similarly good but...

Happy Birthday to one of the true gentleman of darts. Quite rightly a legend and an excellent role model and ambassador. Good luck to him in Blackpool.

Re: Gary Anderson - now the number 2 ?
In recent weeks ive come to the conclusion that in my years of watching darts, he is the most naturally talented ive ever seen. The guy is simply frightening at times, can bang in consecutive sub 13 darters at the drop of the hat and blitz a field of top players. But as he is so natural, if he's not...

Re: OPEN DARTS FESTIVAL: ----- Over £10,000 Prize-Money
I can see why you Ronnie have done it fair enough but it's an unusual way of making up the prize money but the BDO have similar restrictions for their holiday camps. But if people are prepared to enter then why not? I guess with my lack of knowledge of the event many still travel from the UK. £20 en...

Re: Race for 2011 Premier League
Will be interesting for sure. The likes of Andy Hamilton won't be happy after years of just missing out, for this. He must be thinking Barry Hearn doesn't want him in it. However as a fan I agree with spaceman. It gets very stale after a couple of weeks and I lose interest. We know that Taylor, Whit...

Re: Taylor - how will he bow out?
I believe he'll go out as a top 10 player. Will slowly go down the rankings and through his desire will carry on but it just won't be there and he'll never get it back. Bit like when he was out of form 2/3 years back by his own standards desite still being at the latter stages of many comps. It'll b...

Re: Whats your no.1 brand of darts??
Only had 4 sets. Barney Grand slam, Klaasen Master Darts, me dads old ones and me current Winmau ones which ive replaced but ended up going back too. So has to be Winmau but i guess its a hard question as each player likes their own. They all have a great range. But quality wise, Target really look ...

Re: The Phil Taylor/Sky love in
This is my favourite tournament but its like watching a premier lg night at times. Constantly about Taylor and TDSS is right, he won't always be around but it helps build his ego too. It wouldn't matter if he was playing a no mark, he'd still be on at the expense of great matchups such as the Walsh ...

Re: Phil Offers Advice to Scotlands Darts Players
Think Taylor believes everything that works for him will work for everybody else. Yes some players could do with practising more but some others perhaps do too much that isn't good for their mental state. Darts is a funny game where everyone is different. 8pm larks a bit extreme but an early night l...
