Re: PDC Q School 18th-21st January 2018
In their example it doesn't say the order they ask between 101st on UK, 102nd on UK and 51st in European.

Re: PDC Q School 18th-21st January 2018
The rules say "Players will receive one point per win from the first full round of play (which does not include Byes in the draw), Daily Countback and then Legs Difference being used to separate any ties". So my understanding is that the first full round of play is last 256 in UK which me...

Re: PDC Q School 18th-21st January 2018
I think 3 points will be enough to guarantee entry into the UK Open Qualifiers.

Re: PDC Q School 18th-21st January 2018
I understand it to be 1 for the last 128 in UK and last 64 in Europe. But I could be wrong. The explanation is not totally clear to me.

Re: 1997 World Matchplay
Thanks everyone. My contact said he spoke to John Part, but he couldn't remember one way or the other. I've been sent the darts world pages by Andy Scott now and it was definitely John Ferrell. They have the score as 8-6 rather than 8-5 though.

Re: 1997 World Matchplay
The person who's contacted me has sent me 3 copies of hand written score sheets which show the Ferrell Cook game was 6-1, Part O Neill was 6-4 to O Neill and O Neill Ferrell was 8-5. The trouble is the scoresheets he's emailed me look like Ferrell and Part have been tipexed out and writen over at so...

Re: 1997 World Matchplay
Yes that's right. The trouble is I think world library and wikipedia originally got their results from me. I originally got most of the older PDC major results, prize money and averages from someone who used to run the PDPA website back in 2007 when I originally set the site up.

1997 World Matchplay
Hi, Somebody has contacted me to say that one of my 1997 World Matchplay results is wrong. Apparently Drew O Neil beat John Ferrell 8-5 in the last 32, not John Part 8-4. O Neill then lost to Phil Taylor 8-4 in the last 16. Does anyone know for sure whether it was Part or Ferrell that Drew O Neill b...

Sorry. Should be 1 less England and one Finland in 2016. I missed that Viljanen gets one.

Re: Q-School 2016
17 of the 128 held by Dutch players A further 20 are non uk So 30% of the tour are non British. Has this changed a lot since tours cards were brought in? There's a lot more Dutch players with cards than when they first came in 2011. 2011... England 82 Netherlands 6 Wales 5 Germany 5 Ireland 4 Scotl...

Re: Q-School 2016
I've got the final ranking here...
http://www.dartsdatabase.co.uk/Rankings.aspx?rankKey=19
Does anyone know why there is an extra place. Has someone from the top 64 or with a previous 2 year one dropped off for next year?

I've updated the ranking here....

I make it 29 cards available in total. I don't know if anyone in the top 64 or with a previous 2 year card has not renewed.

Tony Appleton
I've just been asked about a player called Tony Appleton. He's not on my database, but my results aren't as complete for the 70's and 80's. Does anyone know anything about him? "I am enquiring about the "News of the World darts competition". My grandad who goes by the names Tony Appo,...

Re: Q School 2015
Does anyone know anything about Paul Milford? He's the only one who has got a tour card who I didn't have on the database at all before Q School. He plays for Holly Tree A in Devon Superleague Division 2 (latest averages here (pdf)), and for Devon in BICC Div 1 (averages here ) - he's 33rd in the o...

It's not impossible. Quite a few of the events last year went a lot further down. Especially towards the end of the year.Fox In The Box wrote:So for Dekker to enter an event he will need 15 people to not enter first?
What are the chances?
