Anyone fancy Butler to beat Anderson? He's playing very well and I don't think that Ando's much of an early starter. Also prone to the first game GSOD upset (Nicolson in 2007).

Just watched Hankey vs Taylor to get in the mood (for the darts that is).

Cannae wait!

Presumably MC McDonald will refer to Wolfie as "three times Lakeside champion". Put on next to last for the crowd to wind him up. No respect. Going to be brutal!

Lakeside 2015 tickets

Apologies in advance if this is a "man walks on moon" post but does anybody know exactly when they go on sale?

Just says "soon" on the Lakeside website without the chance to register to be told exactly how soon.

Thanking you.

Re: World Cup of Darts Discussion

Has anyone else noticed the PC, non partisan 'fleg' the Northern Irish boys are wearing on their shirts? Clearly they're both from the one community! Be interesting to see what flag someone like Daryl Gurney would wear if he got in the team which could look a bit odd - two players from the same team...

Phil Taylor.

Too slow, darts land flat and at a funny angle.

Glenrothes Social Club, Fife - Six Nations

I live in Edinburgh and have pals that live in rural Fife, only a few miles from Glenrothes, so I would be daft not to go. However I know what F.I.F.E. stands for and Glenrothes might be the best example of this ;) !!! Hopefully the beer will be competitively priced... Has anyone ever had the pleasu...

Re: BDO WDT -Verdict

Negative - I think having such a large separate VIP section, even though I was a beneficiary of that, was a negative. It took up too much room and prevented most fans from having any chance of getting near the front to a stage that was too large / distant. It didn't look too distant on tv but all P...

Re: BDO WDT -Verdict

I was a very grateful recipient of a free ticket for Friday and Saturday (thanks again to all those concerned for that). This turned into a VIP pass which may colour my views of my experience but, trying to be objective, here they are all the same: Positive - Cracking venue. With more in attendance ...

Ditto.

Having met a couple of markers (great lads but forget their names!) at Blackpool on Friday I got a real sense of how good the marking scheme is and how rewarding it can be. Sadly I bottled out when the scheme was introduced!

Of course, I meant the "so what" in the fact it shouldnt be a big deal yet some people will treat it as such and probably give the poor lad pelters for it. Yes but it will be covered up as banter. The irony is the BDO is full of gay players. After womens hockey, football, rugby et al, it ...

Re: Lakeside day 4 - discussion.

What next for Kist? He'll have to do the BDO tour to qualify for Lakeside 2015. Or have a go at Q school. Or disappear from darts altogether which would be a huge shame. Kist qualifies for next years lakeside under the 3 year rule for ex champions. Thanks. Thought it was just the two year exemption...
