Re: PDC Champions League of Darts 22nd-23rd September 2018- Brighton

Love Paul Nicholson's enthusiasm for the sport he and we all love, but he really says some silly things at times. "Darts players are used to playing 13-14 hours in a day" & "Anderson's beginning to wind down" two standout silly comments from him.

Re: PDC Champions League of Darts 22nd-23rd September 2018- Brighton

Congratulations once more Gary Anderson, marvellous all weekend and thoroughly deserving of his win. Player of the year so far without a doubt, if you exclude Euro events of course! Peter Wright so impressive, his usual consistent self - 101.77 in a thrashing of Cross, 101.46 with 78% on doubles aga...

Re: PDC Champions League of Darts 22nd-23rd September 2018- Brighton

MvG is write Gurney is not one of the best 8 players in the world IMO. I can't stand Gurney, strongly dislike all aspects of his persona and he still doesn't even know the words to his own theme tune! But he is ranked inside the top 8 over a 2-year period with a major (somewhat luckily) to his name...

Re: PDC Champions League of Darts 22nd-23rd September 2018- Brighton

Good afternoon session to kick things off. Professionally done obviously, barring the Whitlock walk-on mishap. By the way, how good was that seeing the Aussie imitate Snakebite's dance to his music? Sensational stuff.

Re: European Tour 2018

Never mind, a great effort all weekend long, ran out of steam here against a Welshman who isn't missing at all.

Re: European Tour 2018

Am sure most darts fans will be routing for the Wizard in this final, both have been up-and-down all weekend but with crucial darts at crucial moments.

Re: European Tour 2018

Wizard with a much improved semi-final performance, averaged 96/97 up until the end, ending with 94.72. Noppert playing to the level he did all day just not enough on this occasion, great weekend for him though, for many reasons.

Re: European Tour 2018

Great win for Steve West, remained calm and a lovely player to watch. Seems a nice, down-to-earth guy too. Made an interesting point about experience after the game - only useful if you've won, take Ian White last week, was his point.

Re: European Tour 2018

Very interesting on-stage behaviour from Adrian Lewis here, extremely laid back and dancing around left, right & centre. Strange!

Re: European Tour 2018

Lots of nervy darts being chucked, with some moments of brilliance thrown in. The bull for the 65 finish for Whitlock with Richardson waiting on D5 was quite simply sensational and a killer for poor old Ruthless. The deciding leg was as tight as you'll see, Richardson's 3x T1s were unfortunate, even...

Re: European Tour 2018

All too late for Marijanovic, averaging 85 for large periods of that game and ending with a 91 average which flatters him. Gurner gets away with a lacklustre opponent who was meant to provide a stubborn challenge.

Re: European Tour 2018

Congratulations to both Ian White for the biggest win of his career, and Ricky Evans for a magical run to the final. Both men ran out of steam a little bit in the final, but the Diamond just edges it 8-5, could easily have been 5-8. I reckon looking at the current PDC ProTour top 20 that since early...

Re: European Tour 2018

Wizard started so well, but then pretty much nothing, once again Peter Wright leaves his best form for the Wizard, even with missed match darts in the 9th leg he ends with a 100 average.

Re: European Tour 2018

And now it's Ritchie Edhouse's turn to upset the apple cart. Knocks out Kyle Anderson 6-4 in the 1/4 finals.

Either Rapid Ricky or Ritchie will be in the final of this event, great to see.

Re: European Tour 2018

Rapid Ricky into the 1/2 finals, Cullen will be annoyed but another high-quality weekend from the Rock Star still. Terrific performance from the Wizard this afternoon, checkouts of 121, 94 via 2x D19, and 140 with Johnson sat on 76 for a 5-4 lead. Then finished the job with a 14-dart hold of throw. ...

Re: European Tour 2018

He may have missed 6 darts at doubles in the opening leg, but that was clinical stuff from Whitlock against an out-of-sorts Reyes on the night. Checkouts of 122 on D7, 117 following a 180 to force misses from Reyes, and a 2-dart 76 checkout made it look easy. In for a tough last 16 match tomorrow a...

Re: How do you watch the ET Events?

I am watching this as much as i can. I recently moved from laola.tv, because it's becoming strange, you probably can't watch without an account, don't know for sure though. So i am now watching it through betting website, no buffering like pdc.tv, it's great... :DDDD: downside is you have to click ...
