I think I have read somewhere that Matt Edgar (nr 33 of Pro Tour OOM) will move up, but can't confirm this with the rules.

It won't happen, but they should give Ratajski a wildcard for the Players Championships. He wasn't able to play the Challenge Tour because of the Euro Tour Qualification. The PDC should do something about that.

Good question. And I think some players have already left the building when they were eliminated in the first round(s). Rules are not clear when they need to play the playoff.
