Both of the semi's and final was good to watch. Pleased for big Lewis. I hope he continues with this kind of form.

Logistically it would be difficult as well. There would have to be a dozen or so players on site on standby ready to play at a few hours or a days notice. the stand-bys would need to fork out for flights, hotels etc and all on the off chance that they might get a shot. Can't see it working.

Big fan of Lewis and glad he won, played really well and got a couple of huge slices of luck. Really enjoyed the semi and the final.

All that matters to Mr Hearn is that people turn up and pay their 40 quid. he doesn't care a fig for the future of darts, money is his God. He would put the Yorkshire Ripper on stage if he thought it would put a fiver on the price of a ticket.

The fella is mentally fragile. To get back to something like his best he needs a good sports psychologist to get his head right and then put the hours in on the practice board. Decent on the comms tho, so he can still earn a crust at that.
