Re: Dereks proposal
Typical Tommy Thompson, when will people wake up and see what an agenda fuelled, incompetent failure this bloke is! The BDO is at a cross roads, a succesful businessman with a darts background, untainted by petty agendas and prejudice is offering his services and Tommy who does not even know him is ...

Re: Dereks proposal
Des is crying on Facebook because he doesn't know who is running against him
As has been said before, the mystery man, let's call him John has enough votes pledged to become the new chairman.

Re: Dereks proposal
After just watching Anderson v Cullen in the Match play it just shows it doesn't matter what the BDO do or who is in charge of it. They are yesterday's news and long ceased to be relevant.Best they could do is hand over to Hearn and let him run it as one. That is the end result whatever short term p...

Re: Dereks proposal
London eye calling it. Calling nothing, it only gets deleted by over zealous mods. I couldn't give a shit about the Jacklins, in fact good luck to them, I hope they get the BDO and bankrupt it, but not before taking the England team back under BDO control making England Darts irrelevant. Edited by ...

Re: Dereks proposal
IN CONCLUSION The Board of Directors of the BDO have appeared for several years to rest on their laurels created from the darting hey day of the 1970’s and 1980’s. They seemed to be in cruise control through the 1990’s and then looked like they were taking their foot off the pedal at the turn of the...

Re: Tommy gets shot down again
England Darts are open to suggestions on how they can fleece more money out of men, ladies, youth players, parents and fans.
A membership scheme is on the agenda.

Re: Tommy gets shot down again
They will sneakily put the semis and final on stage on the Sunday forcing a stay over. And yes, both player and parent have to pay a "fee" to gain entry into the camp. So they don't have to book a caravan then, thanks for confirming that. Paying a fee to get into a holiday park is nothing...

Re: Tommy gets shot down again
In fact a blind man could see through Tommy's plan/agenda. England youth selection will not be from Youth intercounties but will come from England's cobbled together youth Grand Prix with comps bolted on to England senior events like Selsey. The only reason being the flogging of extra caravans, forc...

Re: Tommy gets shot down again
How he has the audacity to call Northern Youth Intercounties a disgrace is beyond belief. It is and always has been the responsibility of each individual county to send in results, the bloke is a complete joke and the sooner he is replaced the better.

Des Jacklin new chairman of England?
Have been told that if Dessie fails in his bid for the BDO top job due to the Scottish and Welsh voting against him he will set his sights on England has he has enough support to take over.

Re: Wolverhampton Classic & Open
Decent enough comp this for BDO amateurs and pub chuckers. Good venue, central location and they don't force you to stay in a caravan.

Europe Youth Cup
Played in UK School time. Should UK nations be sending a team? Do any of the officials cared about kids education? It's a disgrace in my opinion.

What an embarrasing sham of a board this lot running the BDO are. The AGM will be fucking hilarious.
