Re: BDO tournaments no longer recognised by WDF and BDO relegated to Associate Member

The WDF is the World Governing Body so it makes sense that they should run any world ranking system and should be running any World Championships. Official tournaments should be run by that nation's Federation. You don't get other Federations running official tournaments in other nations, why shoul...

Sherrock may be in danger given we know Barney has a thing for much younger women. Poor Sylvia.

Oh dear...we were all very much rubbish!!
I was shooting for a good low score and missed. I thought van de Pas was a risk and he caught me out.

Got it! I thought it was two too!
Another reason to have separate qualifiers. It divides the top players into 2 separate pools.

Re: PDC World Championship- 13th December 2019- 1st January 2020 Alexandra Palace- London

Am I correct it’s a Ashton vs Sherrock semi assuming Aston wins her quarter ? So can have a complete non entity through the other half of the draw into the final and then anything could happen. Correct. However, it's Cassidy v Gilbert in the other semi-final and Cassidy is not a complete non-entity...

Re: PDC World Championship- 13th December 2019- 1st January 2020 Alexandra Palace- London

Brooks beat Bulmer 6-5 by holding with a 133 out for a 15 dart leg with Bulmer on 61.
(Averages were dragged down a bit by a 32-dart 3rd leg!)
So plays Ashton in the quarter final.

Deta currently 3-0 up on Lisa Ashton in the Last 16 of the Ladies Qualifier. Edit- now 4-3 to Lisa. 5-3, then 5-4 after failing to go out in 6 from 96. But then held in 18 to win 6-4. Sherrock beat Winstanley 6-3. Cassidy beat Turner 6-2. (Denise Cassidy is a Northern Irish player who doesn't trave...

Edgar beat Hunt 7-4.
Burness beat Brooks 7-3
Van de Pas beat Owen 7-4.

Edgar probably keeps his card.
Norris loses his tour card.
Stevenson breathes easier.

The only top eligible female player missing is O'Brien. (Anyone know why she isn't there?) I thought Jacklin and Gulliver were also missing? Both are near the top of the rankings. I said top players, not top-ranked. Jacklin works the BDO's crap ranking system. Gulliver is the best female player of ...

How fickle are the UK darts crowds? Nananananana Gerwyn Gerwyn Price Gerwyn Price............. The guy's played great darts and suddenly they cheer for him. 43 entries in the women’s U.K. qualifier. Shocking. The only top eligible female player missing is O'Brien. (Anyone know why she isn't there?) Again, the ladies don’t support an event when they’re handed two generous places. One generous place for this qualifier, which has the best UK players in it...

Re: PDC Development Tour 2019

Have to say, whilst I think it has been a great Tour, and has helped Luke Humphries through his issues, something does not sit right with me seeing a near 24 year old experienced Tour Card holder playing a 17 year old boy in the Youth Final. I think it's perfect. Somebody very experienced and about...
