Re: Barry Hearn

Hope he doesn’t get too sick, he’s probably in the high risk category being older and previous health issues.

Would he have been in contact with any PDC players or staff recently, could have a knock on effect if so.

Re: Barry Hearn on sky sports news

How much longer can the PDC (and all sports) survive with no or limited crowds at TV events? This is a massive loss of revenue, more so at the Ally Pally.

Re: PDC Premier League 2020

Do the PDC know something the rest of the entire world doesnt? How can you possibly set a date to restart? I’m thinking to stop too many people asking for ticket refunds? No one knows when life will return to normal, especially big events with 1000s packed in. I wonder how the PDC will be financial...

Re: Dart to watch

I watched the Taylor/Rvb , was well produced and at least you could see the board. Good comeback for Barney who didn’t look like he was having much fun. No clue why they can’t have the bull as 25 and 50 in soft tip as it makes it too easy.

Re: PDC Premier League 2020

Mvg is looking back in top form, not much between him and Price it’s great watching them play, they are the best pairing right now for quality of darts and a bit of needle! MVG just has the edge over him mentally and with the arrows but looking forward to future matches between the 2.

Re: Players Championship Tour 2020

James Hubbard will be playing on the Pro Tour this weekend - he got the call earlier today. How many people have pulled out then? Might be the last event for a while the ways things are going ATM. I would think all tours and events will be put on hold for a few weeks. They have postponed just about...

Re: Ladbrokes 2020 UK Open 6-8 March Somerset

Just the 110 average for MvG. Good luck everybody else. I guess we can stop saying any bad performances from MVG are cause of his new darts. So far 3 amazing performances and one bad one against Lowe. Still Price can run him close and beat him for sure. Has he not gone back to the old faithful's Lo...

Shocking from MVG after such a good performance yesterday. Should of lost the game, when would he ever look like losing a game from 5-0 up, against someone with no TV experience to boot.

ITV are tedious with their add breaks far worse than sky for it. Premium subscription channel in being able to show less adverts thsn a FTA channel shocker. The international stream is definitely not as sharp as when it’s on Sky, is ITV4 broadcast in HD? Still it’s a million times better than a few...

RTL 7
Assuming he’s not knocked out early! But I doubt his focus is on darts if he’s about to have another baby.

Laid off from work till Monday so gonna try watch all this! Hard to pick the winner but favourites on current form have to be Wright/Price/Durrant/Aspinall/Smith MVG hasn’t had much luck here in recent years and looks to be at his lowest point for a long time after a string of defeats, needs to step...

Re: 2020 PDC European Tour

MvG will have to sort his doubles out. 30+% is not good enough these days. He's not quite accustomed to the new darts, remember, last set was like 8+ years of use, he''ll come good. He will. I think it will take he bit longer than the 3 months he claims he needs, though. Agree, more like a year. Ar...

What is the catalyst for this? He seems to have been around a few years not really doing much then has exploded since his first WC semi final.

Just more maturity and confidence or is he better than he was?

No one knows but who’s to say he can’t do well, he has the pedigree.

Everyone always says moving up a level into the PDC can help your game improve. There are lots of players who never did that great in the BDO that have gone on to win PDC majors, Waites all ready comes in as major winner.

Re: The BDO Unofficial & Unregulated World Darts Championships 4-12 Jan 2020 Indigo at the O2

Enjoyable final. Have to say in this day and age of darts, no need for a 25 minute break at the half way stage. Disagree, they have been going at it for 2 hours. And thats their own fault. If the PDC final was Pipe vs Dennis Smith they would have breaks in the ad break time only and would have to d...

Re: O2 players - who will get a Tour Card?

Unterbuchner, Kleermaker, Williams, Mitchell have the best chance of the BDO Players But who would have thought Baker & Whitehead would have got one last year? Good point. How have those 2 done this year? Fairly mediocre, Baker won 17k and ranked 100, Whitehead 13k and a few places below. Will ...
