Re: Social Media Watch

I have read a lot of the stuff on fb. Plenty are saying this player should have been picked but rarely say who shouldn't have been picked. folks can't have it both ways: refusing to say who their choice should replace. they want a strict criteria (when their son, mate etc is not selected). if you d...

Re: Social Media Watch

The EDO is just a joke anyway. Couldn’t even send a team to the World Cup everyone involved in that decision should have just resigned through embarrassment. No no no, sending a team to the World Cup was very expensive, and the EDO only had multiple years to plan for it and find a way of funding it...

Re: PDC Premier League 2019

Um yes they do. Your talking nonsense without actually coming up with any reasonable arguement. Also how is the prestige of a tournement decided by those competing in it surely it decided more so by the fans. Surely the prestige of the event is in the eye of the beholder, either player or fan? For ...

None of which are at all relevant for how much prestige players attach to competing in it and winning it. You're really grasping at straws here. Um yes they do. Thanks for putting the thread back to light, I'd missed this splendid reading material the first time around.

Re: PDC Premier League 2019

As others have said, this is a potentially very clever idea, which clearly hasn't been thought through properly. Awarding points for these games is just asking for trouble. Have them as an exbo within and exbo, with a few quid on the line, by all means. But having them count towards the table is a j...

Re: DRA Cases now online again

Am I missing something obvious here? So the pair of them decided to fabricate a result to ensure one of them progressed to the later stages of the tournament. So far, so naughty. But they then went about this by not bothering to play the actual game, and just made up a result? Short of being overcom...

Re: PDC Premier League 2019

I notice it says referees will have the power to deduct legs in the event of "persistent over-reaction". The definition here of "persistent" is vague enough that one of two things will happen. Either no-one will be deducted a leg regardless of what they do (the most likely outcome), or the definitio...

Re: Players Championship Tour 2019

Maybe whilst he's at it he can get someone to teach him correct grammar and punctuation.

Although to be fair to him, for a darts player on social media that was definitely one of the most literate efforts I recall seeing in a while.

Warren was great fun. I miss him.
Didn't he have some link to SAFC?
Was watching the netflix series 'Sunderland till I die' last week.
What a mess that club was in.
I think like most things with Warren, any links he had with SAFC were all in his head.

I'm assuming the word loyalty is in there somewhere. You assume correct. Third paragraph, first sentence (if you want to be generous and pretend his stream of consciousness counts as proper sentence structure). You win today's star prize of a set of brass darts (flights not included) and a free hot...

You know there are some proper time wasters there when a bloke is winning 5-0 throwing an average that I'm capable of.

Re: Darts Betting Thread

As far as I am aware, not accepting multiples on the same market is standard industry practice. I believe the theory goes something like this: Let's say you want a double on player A and player B to both win one of the X number of cards available. The prices on offer are for each player to win one o...

Should have got someone to proof read that.
Someone literate.
In fairness to him, that was just about readable, which makes it a vast improvement on his usual outpourings of utter bilge.

Re: 2019 Q-School

We can argue whether or not Duzza "deserves" to be gifted a tour card all we like, but the equation is actually very simple. Do the PDC need Duzza more than Duzza needs the PDC? If they don't (which is the correct answer), then Barry won't be changing his rules. He's been pretty unequivocal about th...
