Well Wayne D is not happy in the last couple of weeks.. Constant sniping at Des.. When the question was asked why tickets aren't on sale he replied.. Ask Des... So if he is the promoter then things have gone pear shaped with him and Des and he says Des wants sole credit for everything... All not good.

Who is the private promoter for the Worlds?... I though this was a BDO event promoted by themselves.?... Wheres this private promoter come from?

They cannot agree to anything that cuts the field.. Not at this stage after a whole year of qualifying.. They would be a laughing stock and there would be mutiny and the position of Des would be untenable.. That's why it cannot happen.. But something must be afoot surely.. Just doesn't make sense no...

Must be something to stop tickets going on sale.. I've had tickets for The Toy Dolls in Manchester for next March for ages and that's all sold out now.. As they do for all tickets well in advance at venues.. The BDO don't give themselves a chance.. Surely there are issues here stopping them going on...

At the end of the day it's the crowds that have generated media interest in the PDC which in turn attracts the sponsors.. If there was nobody watching the PDC events then TV would not be interested and sponsors would not come.. I still think long term the BDO needs crowds.. The TV will not continual...

I agree that the easy part is getting venues... The hard part is funding it.. I remember the Manchester ice hockey team playing at Manchester Arena.. Fantastic venue.. virtually bankrupted them..

So I'm definitely interested in the sponsorship and how they fund the prize money and everything..
