Looks like webby is starting to get Dartisis.
He's just beginning to struggle to begin the release throw and the slowly falling over lean.

Re: World Cup of Darts Discussion
I would say doubles in tennis is a completely different game and highly specialised, I doubt Nadal and Murray could beat the 2 woodies No but being realistic the doubles in Tennis is treated very much as a poor relation when you look at TV time and prize money as to the viewing paying public its re...

Re: World Cup of Darts Discussion
They could put on a doubles comp...... They used to and again whilst I always enjoyed it history shows it can't have been popular with the greater powers as it's position became the Grand Prix. I was trying to think of another sport where individuals sometimes team up to play pairs and they aren't ...

Re: World Cup of Darts Discussion
I'm not talking viewing figures I'm talking format, full teams, men, ladies, boys and girls not a doubles comp chosen from a tiny pool of players. If we are being honest outside of the handful of main darting countries how many of the others have 1 player near world class ? let alone enough to fill...

Re: World Cup of Darts Discussion
Are there any countries which are stronger or would do better in this if it was WDF and not PDC ?
Or is it pretty universal that the strongest darts countries are the same in the PDC as the WDF ?

Re: Tales From the BICC
On a lighter note - my first ever County game was against the Isle of Wight....... a nice win in the B Side with a 17 average.... against Arthur Bucket On a lighter note It was always whispered that Arthur and his wife Pam were secret swingers who used the county darts 'trips' to expand their circl...

Re: Tales From the BICC
Sorry, my internet running soooo slllooowwww today!! So lots of cross overs probably. No I used to play for the Island, 1990 to 2003. So who is he in the squad list then??? When were you squad manager ? If its from 90-91 series you must be ( and using the name as a clue) Colin Saunders and he was p...

Re: Which Darts Player?...
Ritchie Burnett Because he's a typical from the valleys moaning Welshman and is supported by typically from the Valleys Moaning Welshmen who make such stupid claims of him being the best player in the world ever. And because he does that stupid shoulders back come and have a go stance when he finall...

Re: The greatest dart ever thrown.
I thought of a few candidates. 1. The winning dart in the greatest darts match - Barneys winning double in the World Champs to beat Taylor in the Final. 2. The wining dart to break the greatest World Championship Winning Streak - Parts double to beat Taylor in the deciding set of 2003 World Champs. ...

Re: Rowby-John
Biggest disappointment I had with him was realising his name wasn't Rowdy John As he seemed to have the perfect nickname built in In all fairness watching it all I didn't really see anything ott or even worth a comment about him in the whole match and having only seen him play this one game I am los...

Re: Taylor?
Noone will ever recall or care about the positions they finished in the Premier League all that history will record is who won the title.
This year it was Barney which makes him the best player of the playoff night and as that's all you need to be to be champion surely anything else is a moot point.

I don't think so. I can't see him beating the likes of Adams, Wilson and Kong, probably Dekker in that bracket of players too. The ship may have sailed. I'm not saying that he isn't a decent player, but I don't think he will hit the heights he previously did. I think Ted is more than capable of bea...

Re: Rivalry
The main problem with Ladies darts is the standard they play at. All the rivalry in the world can't make a watchable sporting event. Until the standard improves to a level which is way beyond what the average watcher can play their self they will always struggle. Good example of this was last night ...
