Re: Why tournaments should hold multi events!
But you have to bring different organisations into the equation, because they represent different countries, why does that create such a problem for you, I just don't see the imbalance you mention at all, not even in part. Wales run one, they could run three, as too could Scotland and I assume IOM,...

Re: BDO World Trophy Qualifiers
No body of intrest has qualified then. nobody outside of the Netherlands and Belgium had heard of a Lakeside qualifier a few years ago, he went on to beat RvB in the final. and few had heard of MvG before he went on to win the winmau world masters. Unless you know all of the players who have qualif...

Re: BDO World Darts Trophy.
Better than a sweaty sports centre. Unlike somewhere in Vegas where you got drawn against (and beat) by a PDC player (Ex BDO World Champ) who nowadays only plays in PDC sweaty sports centres but beats all comers in a BDO ranked event and wins it! I would have thought you would have been complaining...

Re: BDO World Trophy Qualifiers
Probably a number of reasons for low entries from the ladies. Yes the LDO did a great job on facebook etc promoting it, but without being disrespectful, it was heavily promoted to the LDO membership who knew about it already. Holding a qualifying event during the week in the UK with 4 ladies qualify...

Re: Why tournaments should hold multi events!
We will just have to agree to disagree sir, as I'm afraid, tho getting the principle of you gib,I totally disagree with just about everything regarding the way you believe CAT A points are given or distributed and am more adamant that if multi events were to become the norm, as hopefully for the pl...

Re: Why tournaments should hold multi events!
Right lets take them in order Avalon if I may mate. We will have to agree to disagree on the first one. The thought of handing out ranking status based not on one offers but based on ones economy is fundamentally crazy. A ruling has to be applied fairly and neutrally, and since we first organised J...

Re: Why tournaments should hold multi events!
Welsh Masters and classic were consecutive days or just one day break between them........... so not ten days between them. It`s easy to suggest that other countries step up to the plate when you are living and earning or have UK income. I know I will sound like a broken record here but what you ar...

Re: Why tournaments should hold multi events!
Obviously am writing this from a personal perspective, but would be interested in knowing what some of the rank and file think, hopefully it will stay serious. Much has been made recently of the defections, not just Buntys and a few others but more specifically by the scores of regular and previous...

Re: 35th Annual $25,000 + Las Vegas Open
I enjoyed meeting and talking with you Paddy. I hope you and the Mrs. had a good time and perhaps we'll meet up again in the future. Safe travels. It was great meeting you too, it's a pity we didn't chat a little more but there was so much going on. Hopefully bump into you again some where. cheers ...

Re: Bunting Switches to PDC
People have so little understanding of how contracts work. If one party wants to break a contract the other party has 2 options. 1. They can kick up a stink and enforce the terms of the contract which can be costly, time consuming and at the end of the day no one really wins anything or 2. They lis...

Re: LAKESIDE - THANK YOU
Is it any wonder the levels of education when it comes to basic English is so poor especially in Britain when you have people like you teaching. As mentioned a basic secondary education qualifies you to teach English. For the record the levels of education in Ireland when it comes to the English la...

Re: LAKESIDE - THANK YOU
The fact that you feel the need to explain that you are an English teacher shows exactly how defensive you are, and being a teacher is hardly a brain surgeon, those who can do, those who can't teach. Basic secondary education is all that is needed to teach English. I like Richard, I was referring t...

Re: Hankey back to BDO
My personal thoughts on the reasons for Teds lack of success on the PDC tour are that there are no spectators there. He thrives on the support and attention he gets and when there is none his game suffers. At BDO ranked events, especially in Europe, it was very difficult to get to watch his games as...

Re: WORLD DARTS CHAMPIONSHIP - THE FINAL
According to livepdv.tv the final will not be shown on the official stream?? I hope that is just an error, just emailed support. Would hate if i really had to watch it on german TV with its cringeworthy commentary. Just how bad IS the German commentary? Are they claiming MVG is just lucky and that ...
