Re: Michael Van Gerwen

the capital v in that sentence is correct. It's Michael van Gerwen, but when you leave away 'Michael' it's Van Gerwen. At least, according to Dutch grammar it is.

Re: Premier League week 8. Discussion.

sucks to be Barney right now. He finally shows up with a great average in a Taylor match again (cause usually he throws 96~99), but still gets humped because of being sloppy on doubles twice.

Re: Jelle Klaasen - should he be allowed back?

The big problem i have as a fan of darts is if klassen would have come out with a full statement explaining he was under the influence (was he??) and it was a moment of madness full appology to the family i was so stupid etc i could maybe say ok, he didnt!!! as a grown man regardless of who started...

Re: Q-School Official Discussion DAY 4

Nice to see a Chinese player receive a tour-card!

Overall quite some non-British tourcard winners these past four days. Nothing against the British, but I like to see some international faces have a go at the tour

Re: WDF World Cup Singles winner is a World Champion.

Just had a look at Dartsdatabase to see which of the World Champions of both organisation actually won the WDF World Cup Singles. As we all know, Priestley, Part, Barney and Taylor won the BDO and PDC title, but Priestley, Part and Taylor never won the World Cup Singles. Barney is the only one who w...

Always knew that Dick van Dijk is a World Champion. How was the reception in Holland? :DDD: :DDD: :DDD: :DDD: :DDD: :DDD: :DDD: Until 2007 it was best of 7 legs. :WWWW: And Kirk Shepherd was runner-up :-D About Dick, his win was mentioned during the World Darts Trophy (which started shortly after t...

WDF World Cup Singles winner is a World Champion.

I think this has been discussed before, but I never read the original topic to its conclusion. I always thought that the winner of the World Cup Singles tournament was in fact a "World Champion", but if I remember correctly it was Rudy who defended this theory here but was met with laughs,...

Looking back at 2008 can we say her win over Trina was some sort of a passing of the torch match?

Well done Ana! My favourite players since the WDT '05 where she knocked out Trina.

Thought it was a fun final to watch btw! Good for ladies' darts.

Re: THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL

MvG should've expanded his lead, but didn't. Shame. Can only see one winner here. Kudos for Taylor for taking his chances, but the game had been different if MvG had taken his and went 3 sets away from Phil. Taylor looked nervous at the start, but is back to his old self atm.

Re: Barney A Bit Of A Letdown

I was really disappointed with the way he started. After he chucked in his first 3 ~ 6 darts I was basically waiting for the headshaking, and he did! Even on bull finishes. No shame in missing those. Throughout the tournament he kept saying that he's back, but he was always a frontrunner and never i...
