Re: Players Championship Tour 2020
Vinny having another good run today. No complaints incoming :) Maybe not having MvG their is helping him concentrate more on himself. Good battle between him Wattimena and Dolan for the slam spot ATM. You forgot Smith. Remember the rule for the Winter Series GSOD place. As it’s a winners place only...

Re: GSOD 2020
They have said for non league football all games have to end except where TV money involved eg FA Cup. Given the Winter Series is pay on PDC TV and the bookmaker sites that makes it professional so allowed to continue wherever the venue is in England. Same applies for PC Finals, GSOD and WC as all o...

Re: PDC European Championship- 29th October-1st November 2020- Oberhausen
Good job on this weekend as Germany ban fans at all sporting events from next week. They mentioned football on the news but must be darts as well. So EC okay but buggers the World Cup and Hearn’s plan to move WC there if no fans at Ally Pally. Part of tighter lockdown rules.

Re: Fallon Sherrock
Obviously doesn’t get the dynamics of being a TV star in the modern age. Fallon ticks all the right boxes. Young attractive blonde. Single mum. Battled adversity of her medical issues to get to top of women’s game. Beaten men at the PDC WC. You may argue Ashton definitely and Hedman perhaps with all...

Re: Fallon Sherrock
Fallon Sherrock on ITV’s Celebrity Chase Saturday 8pm alongside ITV4’s darts host Jacqui Oatley.
PDC must be fuming the women’s WC qualifiers are two women they don’t see as marketable to the wider public. Hype would be in overdrive now if it had been Fallon and her sister.

Re: GSOD 2020
See the thread has been updated for sometime. With de Sousa winning the ET last night that means there are now 21 players on the winners and runners-up list with only 22 places. Remember they still have the stupidity of 8 via a qualifier. The Winter Series guarantees the 22nd place as it’s the highe...

They could also use most wins as either favours Sherrock as she would have 2 wins to gets that tiebreaker as well.

Re: PDC World Grand Prix-6th-12th October-Coventry
Smith has to win these games if he wants to challenge Typical crap from the Sky commentators that he’s a major winner in waiting. Really needs to start consulting with a sports psychologist. Has any darts player ever admitted to doing this ? They all seem as if they want to appear macho so don’t ne...

Re: Need some clarity?
Because you can’t get a test result that quickly. Plus there isn’t the money at that level of the sport to test.
Otherwise you would just have to write off their season.

Exactly. Middle aged massively overweight men like those two have some of the worst prognosis. Should have been more careful.Rout wrote:The state of those two physically, a positive test is grim

Re: PDC World Grand Prix-4th-10th October-Dublin
They should really been having a session on Saturday afternoon but can’t as ITV4 prioritise horse racing, and I guess they didn’t want to string out the tournament for yet another day by starting on Wednesday not Thursday.

Re: PDC World Grand Prix-4th-10th October-Dublin
Why is it Tue-Mon and not Mon-Sun? Be either venue availability or a Sky request to fit around other things, suppose with no crowd in and its all still evenings, its fine. Just wait until you see the dogs dinner they have made with the GSoD scheduling though..... Probably linked to when the stadium...

Re: PDC Premier League 2020
Play offs will be played at the Ricoh. GSOD, Players championships and Winter series also. Wonder how the Players Champs finals will work? Presumably they’ll create a second stage and film these also like at Butlins? Hope they'll be on the red button as usual. Players Championship is ITV not Sky an...

Re: Adam Smith-Neale
Yes I always find that confusing.
Europeans use a , comma not a . full stop as the decimal place.
They then reverse the symbols when breaking numbers up into units of thousand, million etc.
We have the right approach which the rest of the English speaking world follows

Re: Barry Hearn on sky sports news
How much longer can the PDC (and all sports) survive with no or limited crowds at TV events? This is a massive loss of revenue, more so at the Ally Pally. Provided they keep the TV contracts they survive. What they will need to do is follow other sports like golf and tennis by cutting prize money t...

Re: 2020 PDC European Tour
Why does the YouTube stream mute the sound unless the are actually throwing in a match. Can understand they mute the walk on music as YouTube have strange rules over use of pop music in content and you have to pay big fees to the music rights owners, as BDO used to mute the walk on music on their st...

Re: 2020 PDC European Tour
Petersen isn’t the #3 seed that was Price whom he beat. Looks like it’s opened up nicely for Durrant in the bottom half of the draw. Should be able to get through there. Hopp may be motivated thought in that half, as winning the event given his a place in Grand Prix and almost certainly Grand Slam a...

Re: Barney's back
He won't get a card as long as Oche eats crayons. Early placeholder for Any Luck... Would be great if he got back in the PL also just to annoy certain posters here  I think after his retirement trick Matchroom won't be a hurry to pick him. There are some other decent players like van Duivenbo...
