Re: World Cup of Darts Discussion

I have to say, these nice, athletic looking walk-on girls are a big improvement on the artificial trolls they wheeled out at the Premier League. Super stuff.

Re: Welsh open 2014

I really do like all these crowd shots. I have yet to see a single person who isn't obese or has a visage which puts one in mind of chronic inbreeding. At least you get a few dolly birds at PDC events. You just insulted me there thanks, spotted many friends and me sis with her hubby. Sent from my P...

Re: Players Championship 4 - Discussion

What did this "greatest match of all time" finish in the end, was it 10-5? Has to be a close match for such an accolade to be bestowed on a game, IMO. I agree with this. As impressive as the standard was, the excitement just wasn't there for me once Taylor started to romp it. I think it's...

Re: Stephen Bunting

To be fair though, it isn't like he's losing to jobbers. There's no shame in losing to van Gerwen or Lewis, and Webster and Hamilton ain't no mugs. The Pieman may not be a darting A-lister, but he always seems to do enough to steal a place on the telly, so I'd imagine he's taken out many a good pla...

Re: Stephen Bunting

Nah, I think top ten is a little too optimistic at this stage. However, outside of the "big three", I think he's up there with the best of them, so I think he'll do well enough this year.

Mitchell 3-1 up on Fitton currently.
If Scotty Dog keeps this up he might lose his coveted tag of "greatest jobber in history"!!

Second 1/4 final on tour
Thanks, I thought he'd underachieved a little. Hopefully he'll have a few more of these results over the year.

Re: Should women's darts be shown on tv?

Of course. As ladies tennis is shown This is a different thing altogether, as is ladies golf. In those sports, the ladies make up for their lack of strength by playing a different kind of game to the men. In darts, there is no such disadvantage, and the only difference between the men and women is ...

Re: BDO Daily Mirror World Trophy - Day 2 Discussion

Yes, I think enough is enough now where the ladies are concerned. This game is abominable, and the only way they'll drum up any kind of interest is if they re-introduce that Live TV classic, Topless Darts. Actually, the dolly birds who used to appear on that programme were of comparable darting tale...

Re: Tommy Cox lays into Adams on Twitter

the common denominator is adams, no surprise bristow thompson and cox all appear to have issues with him. And for good reason too I'm not disputing that, I just don't think it's ideal when two major executives and arguably the best known darter of all time are using social networking sites to sling...
