Looking at the Channel 4 schedule, there's a programme on Saturday afternoon called "Best Laid Plans".
No idea what it is or what it's about, but if they wanted to have a stab at irony, I reckon that's the best time to do the draw.

Re: Disaster for BDO long Term Streaming Plans
In fairness to Skewball I saw this story elsewhere earlier today with a screenshot showing the Unilad page being gone so it did happen even if only briefly

Re: 2017 PDC Grand Slam of Darts, Wolverhampton 11-19 November
Yes, and in my conversation with Barry Hearn in which he said the PDC would no longer interfere with the Lakeside contract; he advised any potential switcher to get a good solicitor. Here is the rub though; the deadline for Q school is January 16. Lakeside ends on January 14. The BDO can simply wai...

Re: 2017 PDC Grand Slam of Darts, Wolverhampton 11-19 November
Also the contracts are reportedly stating that prize money is forfeited if you attend Q School. So if you get given a card and dont attend, this wont apply will it? ;) One would assume the contracts specifically mention associate membership as does the eligibility rule. That's an awfully brave thin...

There are a few folk on here with a Doctorate in Pedantry who should be able to advise you accordingly.Ginge wrote:Also the contracts are reportedly stating that prize money is forfeited if you attend Q School.

Re: 2017 PDC Grand Slam of Darts, Wolverhampton 11-19 November
Duzza will piss Q school well of course, that's not in doubt. Its like saying the Sky is Blue. The point is that playing a couple of days after potentially winning Lakeside creates a small risk that he just wont mentally be ready. And as its his future any risk in his head may transfer to his form,...

Re: 2017 PDC Grand Slam of Darts, Wolverhampton 11-19 November
This is truly heart-breaking. What a fighter Berry van Peer, actually winning a leg against a guy averaging 110 with the worst dartitis you have ever seen. Gary Anderson & Russ Bray - class acts. Same cannot be said for the Wolverhampton crowd, disgusting. Likewise Mr Whitlock yesterday.....dis...

I've never had it and, like most I would imagine, can't really understand how and why it manifests itself.BlueSpark wrote:You have to feel sorry for him.
I know what having the dartitis is like.
But that was really uncomfortable to watch.
Feel so sorry for the lad.

I lived in Northern Ireland for 5 years and my experience was that most people on both sides were just trying to get on with things, put the past behind them, and build a better place to live. Of course there were still idiots longing the darker days of the past on both sides, but they seemed to be...
