Well if I was a director i would soon resign if the CEO was organising an event knowing people wouldnt be paid.

Surely nobody thinks BDO directors are so dumb they would offer a prize fund when they arent sure they have the money to cover it.

This rumour is the wrong way round. The big new sponsors Des has got mean they dont need the WDF anymore and dont want them to continue to hold them back. Its the BDO that has given the WDF the boot.

Now the BDO have no credible players the Grand Slam has no interest. At least before Durrant and in the past Waites had realistic chances of going a long way.

Prize money should have been cut years ago. A cut of 2/3rds would be about right given the status it has now.
