Re: Your picks for new PDC World Champions in the future
I see Anderson winning it in the next 1-3 years. Great consistency, performs well in the majors , very difficult to beat, players fear him. That's why they totally didn't have to shoehorn him into this year's Grand Slam... Yes, he didn't win anything but mostly bowed out after fighting the life out...

Re: European Championships - Discussion
I thought Taylor was courteous in defeat, but that was when the Dutch interviewer took both players apart. I didn't hear any complaints or reasons, just compliments for Stephen. Great game indeed. But at the same time it's painfully clear now that Taylor's dominance belongs to the past. 5 Years ago ...

Welcome back, Tristan! As to Ginge and JP, they're feeding on controversy but if you're throwing punches, you should be prepared to expect a few back one day and then take it like a man instead of starting to whine out of self pity. On the other hand, this forum needs people who can stir things up a...

Let them first at least attempt to crack the Dutch market before going Far East!

And MvG developed a new grimace, when he does not hit an 180 after 2 x t20 he now often looks like constipated and trying to take a dump.

Re: World Grand Prix - Oct 6-12, Dublin - Discussion
Have any of you folks ever been involved in the running (or helping at) kids clubs of any kind? 6-10yr olds? If so there is usually at least 1 kid who will cry as soon as he (or his team) doesn't win the game, or if things don't go his way. Annoying at times (hey, maybe some of us was that kid when...

Congrats to JP!!
Would have liked to take a peek on the Darren-Phil match, both around 107 and a whitewash for the Power. don't think he's ever been whitewashed with that high an average, not even by MvG.

Re: 2002 Lakeside - Tony David
Tony's one of the greatest champs of all time, considering his unstable health at the time so to still win this title was beyond superlatives. And his wife -girlfriend at the time- did one hell of a positive job too by nursing him and his hemophelia. At the 2004 International Darts League, held 3 mi...

Great talent with an almost perfect timing in joining the PDC.
And he's got a very inspiring mum as well who's a member on here too, although, Sylvia, I haven't seen you write a lot these last few months. You must be busy accompanying Benito!

Re: Van Gerwen doesn't produce highest average ever on TV
Chris, so the 118 plus was correct after all, I understand now. I thought the 120 plus was the correct average, but was corrected back to the 118 plus because it was a post match upgrading which was -for that reason- not valid.

Re: Van Gerwen doesn't produce highest average ever on TV
Dave, was MvG's average indeed 120 plus as the PDC had suggested or even confirmed earlier but was the reason for -after all- not recognizing this new record the fact that it was ascertained not until after the match or was the reason just the fact that the alleged 120 plus was a calculation mistake?

Read about his passing away on dartfreakz.nl just a few minutes ago. The second sad death of a darts player within one week, after Reg Harding's.
RIP James, 42 was way too early!! Condolences to his family!
