I've also gone Jenkins.
Fantastic player, puts on a great exhibition and a really top bloke, but boy could he choke in a final.
He'd probably agree as well.

Re: The Lakeside Trophy
Of course, like I said, I wouldn't put it past her, but these articles are full of made up bollocks a lot of the time.
The article I was in was about 20% truth and the rest sensational bollocks.

Re: The Lakeside Trophy
Facebook groups getting in a fit about an interview she’s done where she said she played for England To be fair to her, and I say that in the loosest terms, there's no quote attributed to her about playing for England in the article I saw on Facebook. Having been involved in these kind of puff piec...

Re: The Lakeside Trophy
I think a lot of people are confusing their emotions with what is lawful (more so on Facebook and Twitter then here). Let's get it right. The trophy is an asset of the BDO, not Wayne. He won it, but it's on the proviso that it is returned. Unless it states in contract that he can keep it, Des/BDO h...

Re: Online darts / training apps during lockdown
Finally got coaxed into playing on Nakka last week and I've been impressed. I've had the app for a while and played against the CPU, but it is better playing other people. I have to sort a webcam out, so playing based on trust at the moment, but I've had a couple of really good games against people...

Does Super League count? I'm sure I read yesterday that he played Super League. Whether he played any Opens or not, I wouldn't have a clue.Addicks Fan wrote: ↑Mon Jan 04, 2021 7:16 pm Is Price the first World Champion who hasn't played any BDO darts?

Re: PDC World Championship- December 2020- 3rd January 2021- London
I'm working the first week in January for some time. Normally book this week off to get over Christmas and to enjoy Lakeside on an afternoon. Instead I'm stuck at my desk in the kitchen. Might book some days off next week and watch some Lakeside classics from Youtube. As for last night - fair play t...

Like others, I can't stand Price. It's not even the antics on stage, he's genuinely just a miserable twunt whenever I've heard about him outside of the game as well. I met him in February at an exhibition and he would rather have been anywhere else. MVG on the other hand was a lovely bloke, complete...

Gotta hope for the chizzy upset now Can’t stand another moaning year of Anderson but being world champions and Price is just someone I can’t ever support I would prefer Chissy to be world champion out of the 3 left in but his record in finals makes me think Anderson is more likely to stop the twat....

Just when you think Mardle couldn't get worse on comms... Not for a second do I imagine he's bottomed out yet. He is now completely unwatchable. Actively detracts from the viewing experience, and not by a little bit either. Unfortunately I think you're right. Sky could have pulled it back several t...

Re: Merry Christmas
We're moving into Tier 3 which meant my plans to watch Cheltenham demolish Stevenage on Boxing Day have been kayboshed, but I can appreciate I'm in a much better position than many. I know I don't post much, but I do read a lot on here, so thanks for keeping me entertained all and hope you all have ...

With literally no evidence whatsoever, I've a sneaky suspicion their Worlds will be back at Lakeside.

Re: GSOD 2020
He also did something that always annoys me in going for bill to leave a double when you only have 2 darts left. It’s just silly. Be interesting to see how Duzza plays later. What was silly was going 19’s with the first dart on 101, if he’d gone 20’s then he wouldn’t have needed to even bring the b...

Re: Ultimate World Professional Championships Round 1. Hankey vs Kist
2000 Hankey is probably my favourite Lakeside win ever, especially the demolition of Baxter in the final and the 170 c/o to seal the deal.
Watching that final is a fantastic way to kill 45 mins.
Hankey 3-0 Kist - and Kist is lucky to get 0.

3 wins against 1 final. Regardless of how great that one final was, 3 wins will always beat a non-winner in my eyes.

I'm sure Des knows that issuing proceedings is useless in England anyway - to issue on a citizen of another EU state requires proceedings being brought in the defendant's local court.
I've seen Irish court fees before, the trophy isn't really worth the costs involved.

Will be interesting to see what the contract says regarding when John is expected to give it back. Does it say he holds onto the trophy for a calendar year, bearing in mind how the Masters was shunted around in the last few years from any time between October and December, or does it say until the n...
