Re: Funny comment from my boy
Put my feet up the other night, poured myself a glass of cider, and settled down to watch Whitlock v Taylor on my big tele. My eight year old son comes into the living room. Son: "Dad, can I play gears of war on my xbox". Me: "Son, cant you see Im about to watch the darts?" Son:...

Re: TV Averages +105
Slymaster, is there any chance that you could compile a list of the top televised averages recorded on tv for all of the top players from the PDC and BDO? ie what is Kevin Painter's best average, what is Ronnie Baxter's best average etc.

Re: Phil Taylor TV/Internet major wins
Definition of major can be quite subjective. Personally I wouldn't include the Championship of Darts or the Premier League. Sorry, but regardless of one's personal prejudices against the premier league, saying that a 15 week televised tournament, featuring the top 6 players in the world, with a fir...

I've omitted the US Open/WSoD for the moment.
Why have you omitted those?

Re: He's so laidback
In his interview the other day Anderson said that he regarded himself as a pub player. Fair enough but the hype around him drives some people mad, given that, by his own admission, he's never really been interested in trying to be a top pro. It's a shame because he seems like a really nice bloke. He...

Re: The Phil Taylor/Sky love in
It's not just the excessive focus on Phil Taylor. Sky's whole coverage of this event has been getting increasingly lazy by the year and has reached its nadir this time round. This tournament really should be a chance to catch up with the rest of the players after the premier league but all they are ...

Re: Reece Robinson....U.K open qualification
Wow. I never thought i'd see people on this of all darts sites trying to deprive people of their prize money. The PDC were clearly aware of his age from the start so if the rules have ben broken it's their fault, not the players. He hasn't lied about his age or deceived anybody. Why shold he be puni...

Re: Wadell & Fry: Biggest case of Biasm in broadcasting history?
I'm not really bothered about 'bias' or what Stephen Fry said or what gestures were made or any of the other crap the guy is bleating about, the only thing that annoyed me about the thing was that they kept cutting away form the match to show the commentary team and the gimmick was allowed to oversh...

Busy P, I have no interest in any of the points you are making as your posts are total garbage. I am just posting to ask that you please stop saying BIASM?!?!? It's intensely irritating. It is not a word . Enough people have used the correct word in this thread for you to have cottoned on by now. Th...

Unbelievable achievement by an unbelievable player. I'm not too cool to say i was literally shaking with excitement when he was on for the third one. 16 perfect darts! And to do it in a major final... :o And the most amazing thing... this is actually what Taylor has been saying for the last few week...
