Re: TSOD OPEN 6. 11OCT 2014. (The Last Waltz)

I echo fully what Mark said. I think Wayne was very dissappointed as we found a reasonably free date outside of school holidays and still little support. What I can tell you for a fact is that I will ALWAYS run a memorial comp every year and the winner's name will be engraved on the trophy. Hopefull...

Re: TSOD OPEN 6. 11OCT 2014. (The Last Waltz)

taxi??? would cost you £20 as you have to go up to the next junction and back down. the locals use the services as a massive time saver. I have a local guy who'll sort a few out, text me when you need picking up, ill message you my number

Re: Scott Rand

He signed a deal that allowed him to give up work and become a true pro darts player, after the intial period he seems to have struggled. It has happened to a few players who have given up work and upset their normal routine. Some of the warwicks boys will be able to enlighten more. At one stage he ...

Re: What date is the TSOD's Open?

We currently sell 3 draught ciders, ALL thatchers, Gold, Dry and the still traditional Heritage. Each will undoubtedly work their magic. By then we will no longer sell Stella BUT the equally evil San Miguel.

Re: What date is the TSOD's Open?

my brilliant girl, Emma, who works for us drops someone to rookery manor, 2 min walk from services when she finishes at midnight most fri nights on her way home. IF not I could get one of the locals who does a bit of moonlighting can be booked for a small fee.

Re: 2014 BDO British Classic

I wasn't knocking "amatuer" darts at all, the BDO should stick to running it and not try being the PDC. I spoke with TK from Leics and we both said what a great event this COULD be, so many top quality players from both codes playing for their team, representing their counties, who have wo...

Re: 2014 BDO British Classic

With the event being in the north of england and some teams obvioulsy have every intention of attending BUT it only needs one or two of the team to be late/hungover and the whole team probably won't bother to travel 4/5/6 or more hours without a full team. I think both draws had to be redone, same a...

Re: We all know Taylor Will Play First this Thursday

I think you'll find that the order of play will be mike gary then phil barney. That is the order that was advertised during the closing of last weeks final league matches. IF there is an order of play to be decided then there has been a coin toss to decide.

Re: 2014 PDC World Matchplay Qualification

Bunting on track to make all TV majors. Looks like he might be seeded for Ally Pally if he keeps it going. Really needs to avoid being 31 or 32 as its not that advantageous to be playing MVG or Taylor 2nd round before Xmas Or draw them or any other top seed in Round 1 as a qualifier? A bird in the ...

Re: Interview Michael Smith

Well done, Pieter! One remark only from one Dutchie to another: I think it's at which age instead of on. 8-) Bit peculiar to read about Michael's preference for the Anderson-Taylor final. A few years ago some UK based posters claimed on here -or the old SoD forum- the World Darts Trophy was not to ...
