Re: Ladbrokes 2020 UK Open 6-8 March Somerset
TV predictions for the next round: MvG vs Wright vs Price vs Anderson vs Should be: Smith vs Cross White vs Wright MVG vs Lowe Evans vs Price No Price or your hero, a refreshing if surprising change! If it was on Sky would they have put West v Klaasen on main stage? If it was my choice I would, pla...

Re: Ladbrokes 2020 UK Open 6-8 March Somerset
Definetly better when it was all in one room in Bolton. Definitely still one of the best 5 TV events to watch though IMO. As an event it was far better in Bolton but I suppose it currently makes miles more money than it did then so the PDC will be well happy and I would imagine its a good weekend i...

Re: Ladbrokes 2020 UK Open 6-8 March Somerset
I like the UK Open... It throws up some good stories... Rob Cross as an "amateur" qualifier is obviously one of the main ones but I like the big field, the draws... Remember Durrant as an unknown playing Part on the main stage.... Waites having a decent run.. Always some good stories and g...

Re: BDO Accounts y/e 31st May 2019 - now available
Cannot see how the BDO can fund a 48 player event with TV production and venue hire and other costs... It cannot happen as things currently stand.. Of course a sponsor may come in... When World Snooker was at a very low ebb pre Hearn they announced Bet Fred at the very last minute and Fred Done said...

Re: BDO Accounts y/e 31st May 2019 - now available
People thought wazza and Rout were the same person!! Wazza is a joke... Rout is actually a very good poster and does raise some good debatable posts.. I think the BDO should have dropped the WDT after its first effort.. ideally before the first one and maybe not even televised the Masters once it lo...

Re: New BDO Chairman
Does anybody think the BDO World Champs will actually be held in January at the Indigo or elsewhere ?
Have they received all Eurosport money for the deal now with the payment after the Indigo ?...

Re: New BDO Chairman
If you predict the same thing time and time again then the odds are eventually one day you might be right. The demise of the BDO has been predicted for years and I've never believed it.. Sure I expected it to get weaker and weaker but I always thought it would be there at top level and the World Cha...

One of the darters I remember from the early days with Bristow and Lowe... I must admit I never rated him too much based on his TV appearances but always sad to lose one of the old guard.

Re: PDC Premier League 2020
You may be correct but I think when you've been playing darts as long as Wright has, its perhaps more about keeping yourself motivated. It can be mind numbingly boring to practice the amount required and I think it keeps him interested to keep trying to add an extra percent here and there. That's p...

Re: PDC Premier League 2020
I have no problem with people tinkering with their darts as its good to try and find that little extra and it can really work.. In Wright's case though I just feel its done a lot for publicity and because it's expected of him rather than just to improve... There is no doubt he had a good set up at A...

Re: PDC Premier League 2020
I think Peter Wright just changes his darts now as its part of his "character"... Different hair.. Different outfit... Different darts.. What a "character"... Does it because its supposedly expected of him.. Well the constant dart changes has become pretty boring and tedious to b...

Paul says he paid the organisers Paypal direct for Deta's booking but the hotel have received no booking..
