Re: PLAYERS CHAMPS - SATURDAY DISCUSSION

Its not Little Richard's or Keith's fault. The director is just bloody slow!! Something he's paid to do. They're not isolated incidents. I'm surprised you're not a bit wound up about it, considering you have to commentate on it. THE DIRECTOR IS UNDER THE INSTRUCTION OF THE SPOTTER, IF A PLAYER GOES...

Re: PLAYERS CHAMPS - SATURDAY DISCUSSION

Re camera work the spotters are trying to second guess the players on many shots out, you try predicting which way they will go nowadays, there is no better spotters in the business than Little Rich and Keith D but even they dont have super powers to get in the mind of a player. Well, that is fair,...

I think Chris and Dicie have been having a normal discussion ! Chris says it as he's sees it even if it gives him a problem ie sky commentary and as for Dicie never met him but know plenty who do ! They all say he's straight talking . Kiss no ones arse and never will, thats skys regimented problem ...

Re: forums and players discussion

If a player acted like Bristow yet failed to perform I can understand being over critical, but if a player is living his dream and trying his best why should he be subjected to abuse by an armchair keyboard player? Most of what people say on forums wouldnt be said face 2 face I bet most of you are ...

Re: forums and players discussion

Hi there. Some of you may remember me? I'm Justin Pipe. I'm glad I have sat back a read this and not posted until now. I still use the forum and read with interest and have made many a friend on here. I hope it stays that way for many a year. I don't post as much as I used to as there are a few mem...

Re: forums and players discussion

I would just like to add, most posters most not all use all the popular forums and what one might say here is totaly different to what is posted on another. Now if the powers that be stumble across the other forum and god forbid a potential sponsor then you could imagine the uproar if a player was b...

Re: forums and players discussion

I use alot of forums in relation to engine building/managment and motorsport, thay all have sensible guidelines, but darts forums have posters that unless they are abusing someone or a player or being a tad OTT about somebody or something they are not happy. I dont even think Maishy posts at all now...

Re: What counts as fair criticism on forums ?

With respect Chris, was it not a national newspaper that made this claim? In the context of this forum and this thread one mention in 18 months cannot be bad, especially when there is a fella who is banned from here and posts pictures on two other forums all the time, I have deleted loads,of pics a...

Re: What counts as fair criticism on forums ?

The right to fair comment on public figures is protected by law, as long as it is not libellous or slanderous (ie making unfounded accusations about people that will affect their reputation). I really can't see the BSPA have any grounds for complaint, as long as that line has not been crossed. If I...
