In fairness to Ovens he did get to the semi finals of the UK Open last year giving Taylor all he could handle for the first 10 legs after beating Newton 10-3 in the quarters and Andy Smith 9-1 in the last 16.

Couldn't agree more. Every sportsman (and lets be in no doubt our game is a sport) has strengths and weaknesses. In snooker its break building and safety play and in golf its driving and putting. In darts its scoring and finishing and obviously it is the scoring side which is Anderson's main strengt...

For those who question Anderson's bottle thats two 6-5 wins under pressure against good quality opposition.

If Anderson can get off to a flyer he should win reasonably comfortably.
