2010 ELKADART BRITISH OPEN: TRINA & THE COUNT TAKE THE TITLES



Trina Gulliver & Ted Hankey lifted the Singles titles at the Elkadart British Open which was played at "The Spa" Bridlington today.

Trina got the better of Deta Hedman by 3 legs to 2 in a very close final. Tricia Wright and Irina Armstrong shared 3rd place.

In the Men's Event Ted had a 3-0 set victory over surprise package Andrew Gilding from Suffolk. Paul Harvey (Notts) and Ian Jones (W. Midlands) shared 3rd place.

BRITISH OPEN PAIRS 2010


The british Open 2010 pairs event was played at The Spa, Bridlington, today.



Deta Hedman and Karen Lawman claimed the British Open Pairs title today with a 3-0 win over Nicole Dillon and Kirsty Hutchinson. In the Semi-Finals Nicole and Kirsty had a narrow 3-2 win over Michelle Shepherd and Sue Goerge while Deta and Karen defeated Rebecca Rose and Louise Carroll 3-0.
John Henderson and Steve Douglas took the Men's title with a 3-0 win over Dave Copley and Ceri Thomas. Both pairs had 3-2 wins in the Semi-Finals. Dave and Ceri defeating Dean Winstanley and Brian Dawson while John and Steve beat Scotty Waites and Garry Thompson.
