The stalwarts (bar Adams) either seem to be having a bad year or are in decline. It's strange to be seeing Fitton, O'Shea and Waites in 10th, 14th and 17th places respectively. And as you mention, Hankey has gone off the boil spectacularly.

Secondly, there are only FOUR overseas players in the mens and womens automatic qualifying spots. Not good for a World Championship is it?

There's also a massive anomaly between the WDF and BDO tables. John Henderson is ranked 2nd in the current WDF list yet would miss out because he's 28th on the BDO list.

So you would have a situation where the World No. 2 (in the context of WDF/BDO darts) wouldn't be in their World Championship. Madness.
