Who do you WANT to win the World Championships (all codes)?

There is a thread running re who we think will win each comp but I was wondering who do folks want to win them, irrespective of their chance of actually winning it. It may be simply your favourite player or someone you think deserves to win. Be interesting to see who (and why) you want to win, if you can only have one choice per comp. here's my picks:

PDC. I don't actually have one favourite player, I tend to have a group who I like above others. But I like it when someone wins who has never won it before. I think it's good for the game. Also I think it would be good for the game for someone who isn't British to win this year, especially as we are seeing the PDC extend it's reach and influence world wide. So on the basis I like the guy, it would be a new face on the wall next year and he is Australian (it would be good for the PDC to have an Australian world champion especially with the recent events over there); if I could choose one person to win it would be Simon Whitlock.

BDO ladies. Deta Hedman. Coming to the end of her career (others who have not won it will have their chance again), a very likable lady, a great story re her return to darts and also you sense she will be putting something back into darts when she does retire from playing. I would love Deta to finally get the title of ladies World champion. A popular pick here?

BDO men. From a BDO point of view it must be important that they retain their world champion after Buntings move last year. I can appreciate that. But if I could pick a winner I would like it to be Robbie Green. At least he has been open about his intentions and it would certainly make for an interesting lakeside that's for sure. He might even stay if he won!

Lewis or King cos I've backed them, but Bunting could do something which may never happen again in winning both World Titles within a year.

As a Yorkshireman, I'll go for Wilson and Winstanley in the BDO.

Wade. He's back on his feet after the dark times he had. He won a lot of majors in his time and had a good form this year. Deserves it.
OShea. I hate it when people reach the final a zillion times but just dont get their hands on the cup. Let him have it.
