Like Mason and Mardle, both very knowlegeable but I prefer Mason, Mardle can do a bit of a John Gwynne from time to time and start yelling nonsense, Mason seems to be a little more laid back.

Love the way both Mason and Warriner-Little are getting a go on ITV, they're carrying the other commentators well when needed.

Chris Mason all day long,i think had it not been for the famous bust up with taylor he would have a place with sky.
Wayne Mardle comes across false and is anything but neutral,is too busy ass licking the likes of Lewis and Anderson,he reminds me of one of those voice overs on a computer game that is restricted to half a dozen lines(too predictable).
It's a bit like the Rod Harrington "we keep saying don't miss the big numbers".
Eric Bristow and Chris Mason would make a good pairing for me.

Mason and Mardle - Absolutely superb. Love to see them together.
Studd and Pearson fantastic too.
Id quite happily have those 4, plus Gwynne, for the Worlds

Worse commentator - Harrington

Wouldn't have anything to do with his Barney head shaking comments by any chance? :)

Love Mason. Terrific co-com, but an even better pundit in the gantry. Yeah, he knows his stuff, but he's naturally and succinctly eloquent.

But I don't understand some of the hate for Mardle's commentary. I had no time for him as a player. His jowly mug gurning during the walk-on, as matchstick arms straddled his space hopper body trying to do the Hawaii Five-0 dance. But I think he's great in the commentary box and very quick.

Mason 5 Mardle 4 (aet) for me.

Mason was good tonight on the balcony.

Stephen Fry was the best giving us the history of darts ;)
