Many thanks
Nunited4eva only logs in on a Thursday I think, so this may create some problems.

Sneaked into the top 10 overall....four weeks to go. It's going to be a nail-biter!
More chance in the cup I think though!
Well done to all concerned, been 2 great comps this year.

I took great pleasure in deleting his row off my spreadsheet this morning. If he only logs in on thursdays by choice, knowing the rules about claiming the darts by Monday (this time tuesday), then doesn't he forfiet the chance of winning darts?Ginge wrote:Bump.Ginge wrote:Can Gringo and Nunited4eva please PM Spaceman70 with address details by 10am TUESDAY - giving an extra day to allow for site problems.

If he doesn't claim them you could really upset the poster who has complained, by giving the set to sandie who came second this week Or do another random draw?

If the points winner doesnt claim the darts, next in line gets them.devosteve wrote:If he only logs in on thursdays by choice, knowing the rules about claiming the darts by Monday (this time tuesday), then doesn't he forfiet the chance of winning darts?Ginge wrote:Bump.Ginge wrote:Can Gringo and Nunited4eva please PM Spaceman70 with address details by 10am TUESDAY - giving an extra day to allow for site problems.

Only 16 points for the winner? Clearly there shouldn't be a set of darts for him this week and sparky1981 should be receiving it instead.

Quite right!!Zeyes wrote:Only 16 points for the winner? Clearly there shouldn't be a set of darts for him this week and sparky1981 should be receiving it instead.
I've sneaked into the top 10 overall without having a single good score but my solid consistency is paying off. Surely this deserves a set of darts?

Heh. Seriously though, it could be interesting to see at the end of the competition who's had the most above-average weekly scores, just for bragging rights. It might not be somebody who was anywhere near winning the whole thing.DavidOwen67 wrote:I've sneaked into the top 10 overall without having a single good score but my solid consistency is paying off. Re: The UNICORN 2013 Premier League Prediction Game - HOMEP
If you take the average score each week, it might not be the person with the most above the line scores that wins overall.
It might be someone who had 3 or 4 brilliant scores and some just below average. Obviously the overall winner will have the highest net "above the line" aggregate (assuming similar numbers enter each week and even then would be difficult to skew the result away from them)
However I suspect that consistent decent scoring is the more likely route to success.

I believe the current leader does not have a set of darts to his name as of yet (from this competition anyway)

Not really, he clearly doesnt understand or accept the rules and felt it fit to have an almighty rant at me. Spoke to Dave and he agreed.God wrote:Bit harsh mate?Ginge wrote: I took great pleasure in deleting his row off my spreadsheet this morning.
