I thought there might be a bigger crowd in today, doesn't look like it though. Great win for Jamie Lewis, it's always good to see the underdogs doing well.

These Euro Tour are become more and more the tournaments of the underdogs. No longer are the player championships the tournaments that decide whether a player goes to the WMP or not, but it are these tournaments. Is that a positive development?

Pipe still hanging in there.
All the seeds having a difficult afternoon so far and Part/Thornton even lost their games, i think none of them suits the early time of play.

Hendo falls over the line, he seems to have a problem with getting that last leg. I remember a wee while back him losing after being 5-2 up...

Fair play by Lloyd to correct his score froom 97 to 133...

And both mssing dart after dart in leg 10, finally Lloyd gets it with the 12th dart at a double that leg...
6-4 Lloyd

Isn't that just a result of the front-loaded European Tour schedule? 5x ET and 3x PC weekends before the Matchplay, but 3x ET and 5x PC weekends afterwards.

Liking Hendo's chances for qualifying for the worlds. Especially with another two wins in this tournament.

I do have to say, if the PDC is willing to run a European Tour event in front of so few people in Gibraltar, they might as well try having one in Belgium, Denmark, etc. that normally aren't considered to have enough of a population base. It could hardly be less of a success, and the upside is that it might do surprisingly well.

Could be, but the payment the players get for getting into round 3 for example makes a huge difference. It's 'only' (spoken with all due respect) winning two matches. You can make one big jump with a good Euro Tour weekend and that pretty much seals your place at a tv-tournament.

Got a feeling Ross may beat Adrian but Jabba may have too much for him on current form.
