WDF World Cup
Have the teams been announced? If so who is in the England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland teams?
Re: BDO World Cup
Funnily enough, I was just looking for team selections too, only confirmed ones I could find do far are:
England: Stephen Bunting (who wasn't originally included in a shocking decision, already been discussed), Tony O'Shea, Scott Waites & Glen Durrant
Scotland: Ross Montgomery, Gary Stone, Craig Baxter & Alan Soutar
Holland: Wesley Harms, Benito van de Pas, Remco van Eijden & Rick Hofstra (no Jan Dekker)
Australia: Eddy Sims, Justin Miles, James Bailey & Peter Machin
You would think that Wales will include Martin Phillips & Jim Williams, Canada will include Dave Cameron & Terry Hayhurst and Belgium will pick Geert de Vos but you never know.

DBG can't even get out of the group stages at a df competition so I would think there's 1 or 2 that would have preference over him.....................................................................that's 1 or 2 million by the way.nikkiboy wrote:I heard that team Ireland was: Dave B Green and P McGinty

Never heard about BDO World Cup. But about WDF World Cup....
Team Finland for men: Vesa Nuutinen, Asko Niskala, Kim Viljanen and Ali Roberts.
Komula and Haavisto can't play because of the stupid rules and Ceder doesn't want to play seriously at the moment.

Re: BDO World Cup
Two things:
- How does that compare to two years ago
- Please, for the love of God, can some change the thread title to "WDF World Cup"?

No it's an established event which the PDC are trying emulate with their 2 man team versionThe Master wrote:is this one of the new events there has been so much talk about?

My bad of the thread title, silly of me to be thinking the BDO running the World Cup, especially since the WDF don't run the World Champs, very confusing for the casual fan.
Re: WDF World Cup
The England team not selecting the World Champion once upon a time didn't make sense either.Welshwizard79 wrote:Welsh team not selecting Jim Williams doesnt make sense.
