A regrettable and embarrasing episode no doubt, but hes done stuff like that before so i am surprised that that would be the reason.

No doubt it would start off well with a good crowd, but then the organiser will ask all the men to leave.

WDF funeral - a cheap affair, with probably no death notice listed as they couldnt afford it. May get the BDO to organise it instead, or just latch onto an existing funeral in the Netherlands and claim it as one of their own.

I was about to make a "well, what we know about the BDO's funeral is that it won't be on TV" quip, but then again next year's Lakeside coverage just might double as it if the board and BDO Events don't pull a rabbit out of the hat with the Masters and Blackpool coverage...

(I must say it would be an incredible coincidence of history if the BDO finally annoyed its top players enough with a broken promise at the same time the PDC is moving to a two-tier system.)

Although I did hear at the last EDO funeral they inadvertently messed up the seeding flowers which meant it was ineligible as a funeral under the guidelines laid down by the BDO.
