Ladbrokes World Championship Day 15 - Discussion

Post by crispy1978 »

Monday 30 December 2013
7pm Start
Semi-Finals (best of 11 sets)

Simon Whitlock v Peter Wright
Michael van Gerwen v Adrian Lewis

Bookies reckon a Whitlock/van Gerwen final (albeit narrowly). Have my suspicions it could be the other way round though.

What odds did you get Wright at? He was 20/1 midway through his match against Michael Smith.

9/2 for Wright/Lewis tonight. That's too big. Wright is the man on form, and Lewis always raises his game when he needs to.

Lewis will win tonight, Van G is having to many dull patches in matches. Lewis just needs to hit his doubles and he should win comfortably.

66/1 backed him on the 14th with the sponsors, i may cover my bet by backing Whitlock though to win tonight.

Both games a toss up.

Hope for MvG but have really enjoyed watching Lewis in the last year.

Wright/Whitlock - not fussed.

OK hear me out - what is this "feed the stands" lark all about? I realise its a play of words of the famous Band Aid song, but most football chants have a degree of irony and whit about it. I just don't get it?

I even heard it watching the Chelsea game yesterday, which says it all about Chelsea fans. :D

They are saying those in the stands are poor and in need of charity. Very witty.

Don't know if it might just be me, but I'm getting very weary and very bored of the "boring boring tables" chant.
