Opinions on this alternative plan to the CSM IDO DARTS
Here's a suggestion and breakdown of monies etc.
Break the UK or just England down to Eight Area's.
If you can attract 100 members in each area paying a £25 Membership Fee you generate £20,000
Hold 5 competitions in each area over the year. Entry Fee £15 predicted entries 90 at first then deducting ten off at each event gives a total of 350 entries over the 5 competitions which returns £5,250.00 .
Payout at each event is £500 winner, £200 R-up, £80 Beaten Semi-finalists and £35 beaten 1/4 Finalists. Total payout £1,000
Profit from each area is £250 x 8 = £2,000
Profit from membership £20,000 plus area profit £2,000 = £22,000
Top 8 players from each area qualify for Grand Finals giving us 64 players at the Grand Finals.
Grand Final Prize Money Winner £5,000, R-up £2,000, Beaten Semi-Finalists £800, Beaten 1/4 Finalists £320, Last 16 £125 each, Last 32 £50 each, Last 64 £25 each.
Total Grand Final Payout £12,504. A further £1,000 prize pot would be paid out to the area winners, ru-up and third place

One of these days I really need to look up the old thread in which I called Alex likely to be just as deluded as Lee, just to see who all the "but, but, you should give him a chance first!" people were that time.

Just my opinion on the whole IDO thing.
The bloke Alex, reportedly paid big money for the IDO off of Lee hayes. (Figures range from 10k to 20k for it.
He bought words on an internet site and facebook, and I feel now alex, who has clamed on more than one occasion to be getting out of the game, is trying to do the same, and produce numbers to find someone stupid enough to buy the idea off him.
I could well be wrong, but that is how it reads to me

Re: IDO latest
Seriously how could an idea like the IDO be valued at anything? It doesn't hold any assets or intellectual property does it?Dicie wrote:spaceman70 wrote:To be honest I missed that bit, as I stopped reading.Dicie wrote:The Cat wrote:At first read I did the same thingDicie wrote:Accountants these day! lol

Seriously someone paid Lee Hayes a huge sum for thinking something up?
Re: IDO latest
That's what I was told Dave, and I wasn't told it by Lee.
I think they have some assets now, stands, boards and what have you. But it wouldn't add to a whole pile. Plus, imo, the IDO name is tarnished, that no one trusts it, whether that be the fault of the bad publicity t got from Lee or whoever, but I cant take anything it posts seriously.

I really can't see it, either that or Alex has far too much money for his own good.Dicie wrote:That's what I was told Dave, and I wasn't told it by Lee.

I think it is, the bloke that told me has no reason, nor has ever lied to me in the past (Lurgan darts) I think it was 15k he got for it Danny
Re: IDO latest
Unbelievable. (Not your source, just that he paid £15,000 for a fag packet idea).Dicie wrote:Dannyboy wrote:Please please please let this be true.Dicie wrote:The bloke Alex, reportedly paid big money for the IDO off of Lee hayes. (Figures range from 10k to 20k for it.
