Marco Pol is the Chairman of our local darts league. Or was. Haven't played in it for a few years.
He also took a few high profile scalps in the singles World Darts Event in 2006 (I think).
Eurosport covered it but he went out in the semi on the tv stage bit.
Gerwen won it against King.
