It's sad, from the perspective of wanting to see history, but I'm sure you're correct. A PDC major awaits for Bunting.

I think we will and sooner than we think.

This is the 3rd time it's been possible to happen so its not that rare an occurance.

Can't see it myself...it would take a player to win Lakeside, switch immediately and then win Ally Pally....there is not one player in the current BDO system remotely capable of that so if it ever happens it will be a youngster not on the big scene yet......Bunting did incredibly well and could have done it...can't see it happening now, probably ever....if it does it would be the biggest achievement ever in darts I would say

Sorry I meant we will see someone who could / or its possible for to do it sooner than you think. Kong is an immediate example who springs to mind.

You may also in the very near future get the situation where Lakeside is no longer competed for as a 'World Championships' tournament so the last holder would be incumbent so could have then have multiple attempts to be a 'joint' 'combined' champion. As an example Stacey Blomberg could win the BDO Ladies championship and would in effect be joint PDC & BDO Ladies World Champion.

14 seed coming into this, provisionally down to 18 once it started, Barney has done very well to get 60k here and go back up to 10 in PDC rankings. He can relax now, that might has been weighing on his mind a bit. He does seem to worry about rankings.

The BDO is at its weakest ever, there's nobody there that would come close to winning the PDC title.

Fair play to Barney, not many would have given him a chance of reaching the semis.

Looked relaxed :CCDD: and as if he was enjoying playing for a change.

Maybe he can finally accept his level these days and not beat himself up on the oche and in turn lead to more results like last night.

Barney has been unfortunate that his best performances have came in non ranking events e.g. winning GSOD & Premier League.

Was Taylor's match average of 104 plus correct? The PDC site mentioned "just over 100" in their match report but the stats showed 104.03 which in my opinion of more than "just" over 100...

Last night was simply superb - Celebrations in my house were amazing! I am literally buzzing!!

Pray to god we can have another Barn win tonight, somehow feel Taylor will turn up with a 105 plus average tonight, but might be wrong

Come on Barn, the doubters want you to lose but the true Barney Army are behind you!!

Sky had the stats at 100 point something and not 104 immediately after the match

Well done tae Barney and i thought he would win that match

As for the BDO tourney whomever wins it these days isn't a real World Champion

but just a good pub player in my honest opinion.

Everyone is just a "good pub player".

True ^^ although it tends be be changing from the pubs these days darts

as never see anyone hardly play the game in pubs nowadays

i played in the good ole days when in the pubs always were guys playing

today the traditional small pubs are slowly closing down and in time shall be no pubs in the UK

but more your wetherspoon type bars which are more like restaurants.
