Him and Rod say that it will be next year every year. Believe it when I see it.
I even saw Rod in Berlin at the start of last year and he said there would be a pl venue in Germany and Holland for 2015 and neither happened.

with amount of top dutch players in pdc i think they should get another euro tour event have 5 Germany as they got world cup and euros there then have 2 in Holland and i think they should move the Gibraltar event to main land Spain but keep last event for Austria

I'm guessing there's quite a large subsidy from the Gibraltan government. Same way that some air routes only exist because of subsidies.

Matt Porter has confirmed in an interview with telesport that the Ahoy in Rotterdam is being looked at for the venue for 2016.
'We are seriously looking at the Ahoy in Rotterdam. It is the equivalent of the O2 Arena.
PDC will consult with RTL7 which date will best suit.

Can people not remember MVG slipping up in the interview that they had in Scotland for the fans forum where he said it would be in his own country next year when asked the question.

If people have the clip it's in there when a person asks about playin events in his own country. I remember thinking that's the cat out the bag to early.

They will never be able to get a full Ahoy. Darts is far from as popular here as it is in Great Britain.

True, but you can't say it is not popular here in Holland. 21k (!!!) tickets sold already for the Dutch European Tour event.

Will they be dropping a UK venue or adding an extra night? Because I got a connection to the area I always go Bournemouth but as the smallest ( or one of) venue I fear for that then

if this does happen and is a success i would take 1 euro tour event form germansy as they have 6 and give 2nd one to holland as they got a lot of top dutch players then it could be 5 Germany 2 holland 1 Austra 1 Gibraltar

Glad to have finally confirmed AHOY which I've been mentioning for the last 10 years as a genuine and worthy top location for a Premier League venue or a major tournament in Holland.

I do think, however, we need a Dutch world champion to carry the PR burden towards the PL evening date in particular, as even a half-full AHOY may look worse than a half-empty one if that makes any sense.

It had to happen one day and let's hope it'll be a huge success adn that a few more floor or bigger tourney's may follow in its wake.

Would prefer to see an ET in Belgium than 2nd in Holland. See how the Unibet European Championships in Hasselt, Belgium go in October and November.
