Big difference between a Bi Polar hypo and being insane.
Thinking of one.

Pleading insanity ffs. Nothing to do with it, his actions may be as a result of his condition and meds, he is still sane. They should just accept he may be prone to mood swings and take it into account.

Where have the DRA said this?
The reports were that they wanted a psychiatric report and they didn't receive one, so they didn't or didn't fully take his mental illness into account, but were considering it.

And they haven't said anything about conditions on participation, but if they fined him, they clearly don't want it to happen again. In the case of insanity, to minimize the risk, they'd need him to be compliant and well-monitored.
So it's complete and utter bollocks then.

Insanity:

"to establish a defence on the ground of insanity, it must be clearly proved that, at the time of the committing of the act, the party accused was labouring under such a defect of reason, from disease of the mind, as not to know the nature and quality of the act he was doing; or, if he did know it, that he did not know what he was doing was wrong"

Somebody doesn't have to be psychotic to be insane. Impaired reasoning is enough. That post-game interview didn't exactly suggest that he was thinking straight.

But, in any case, if the DRA requested a psychiatric report and didn't receive one, they aren't going to be able to make a judgment based on his mental illness.

Would a sane person shout about wanting to hurt someone in their face?

It depends if they were doing it for their country, or not.

That is becoming to authoritarian people should be allowed to voice their opinion. Obviously within the laws of the country and if a hate crime/another law is broken by what they have posted then it should dealt with by the police.

As for Razma what game did he forfeit can’t remember seeing anything about that at the time.

Only one fined from Q school is a pleasant surprise.
Being a pdc player when they post on social media they represent the PDC to a certain extent, they could damage the brand. It's in their playing contract so if they sign it they need to abide by it.
It may seem draconian but I guess that's what the 'P' stands for.

Yeah I suppose if they sign a contract it is somewhat fair enough. Just not a fan of the erosion of letting people speak their own minds.
Surely it depends what is actually said. Nobody is going to care if a player posts on Twitter that Trump is an idiot, however if they said Huw Ware was a bent bastard then obviously this doesnt look very good....

social media activity can get almost anyone disciplined or fired from their jobs and if they have a tour card then the pdc is their employer so they must abide by it's rules, it's no more draconian than working for other public or private companies who will also boot you if you're found to be drinking during working hours (including lunch breaks)

it is what the P stands for and is why when looking for sponsors they are confident of image and can be seen to be constantly working on it, unlike the amateur side of the game

Ask David Owen, he actually put down the PDC as a former employer.

Inappropriate behaviour and bringing alcohol into the venue (Q School).

That means vomiting I guess. Re him getting smashed he wouldn't have done it if he had to buy drinks from the bar. people would have noticed it more as he bought drink on drink.

Even the BBC article mentions he was going to get smashed on Sambuca ffs, all his protestations are ridiculous.

Not that many cases really (especially if you take out the mobile phone issue). A sign that players are wising up re being professional (well most of them).
