Think someone should give him a calculator. This averages out at 773 tickets per session sold in tbe first 2 hours and they are not even on general sale until the following Monday. Bearing in mind there is only a limited amount of the tickets availble on Priority sale, 17000 is a phenomenal amount.

Oh and as well as a calculator, perhaps a brain transplant may be in order.

If you choose to base your opinions on idle gossip then that's your prerogative. Every year for the past decade I have heard the ignorant spout "The BDO is Finished" yet it still continues.

People will have opinions which is better for various reasons but it is amazing news. Ticket sales probably exceed £500,000 already. By this time next week we will be probably be talking about 90-95% of all tickets sold 5 months before the event starts. It means that the PDC can now start planning for next year. New events, increased prize funds etc can all be started to be put into place.

Also don't forget that for each person who has bought a ticket already they are signed up to the LivePDC stream service.

A lot of things continue ...you just never hear of them !......Lakeside is dipping year on year....doesn't mean it'll ever die though

But you are not limited to 1 ticket per subscription. I have bought tickets for each of the sessions after the new year.
