ssjsa wrote:Darren Johnson turned up without his darts and according to Rod, used Simon Whitlock's spare set against Wright. Would explain why he played so poorly, but would be interested to find out if he played with his own darts in his victory over Lerchbacher yesterday.

Have to say that IMO, this smacks of unprofessionalism , given the significance of this Euro Tour event to his darting future.
He played with a borrowed set yesterday as far as I am aware.

That's the way to checkout a match winning 132 finish (bull, bull, D16). Well done VvDV.

105.64 from Barn in beating Billy Bunting - I am literally wetting myself!! It's very nerve wracking watching it on the Live Score tracker thingy as you sometimes can't be sure how the scoring is going, but superb win!!

Shame its MVG next though

Barney played very well. He will not be overly concerned about playing MVG next, as he has won the last two matches. Have backed Michael to win ET8, and would have preferred him not to be facing such an in form RVB, should he get past Ronnie Huybrechts.

Not yet. His two nearest challengers for that 16th place are also in the last 16 and there are still two PC events next week. That being said, he is in a very strong position to qualify.

Norris and Smith was a very good game - Norris battled back well. Barney looked good as well.

MvG v RvB again, 11th time this year. First time they will meet each other on the European Tour. But, in 2008 RvB faced MvG at the German Darts Championship and Van Barneveld won this match (3-2). Co Stompe has won this event by beating Phil Taylor 4-2 in the final.

Not any surprise, but Snakebite has changed his darts yet again. Playing today with the wobbly ones.
