The BDO board are a shambles, and not only are they totally incompetent, but conduct themselves in a manner which does their organisation a massive disservice. How anyone can find an executive visiting the homes and workplaces of forum administrators to make threats and accosting paying customers at Lakeside with threats, anything other than a complete disgrace does not have the best interest of that business in mind.

And furthermore, to suggest replacing the existing board with the Jacklins, who conduct themselves in an even more aggressive fashion, borders on lunacy.

If the BDO has any chance of repairing it's reputation, and standing as a legitimate alternative to the PDC, they need to start by employing competent business people who conduct themselves in a manner which enhances the professionalism of that organisation.

You're totally right John. With some competent people in charge the BDO could do a great job looking after darts below the professional level. Even Barry Hearn recognises they have a place in darts and with sane people in charge I'm willing to bet some form of cooperation could be easily arranged.

Don't see anything changing anytime soon though, if the shambles of the last couple of years weren't enough for the members to demand change, than what will be? Directors fighting 'haters' on live television might be the most likely option for everyone to open their eyes.

I bet Oche wouldn't mind taking some hits for the good of the BDO
