I hope you are not encouraging fishingAdrian1969 wrote:That should reel a few in.Rave wrote:What Taylor meant was he hates losing, anyone with common sense knew that.
Taylor has brought darts to this level, so people practice harder and makes the game more entertaining with higher averages
Anyone who doesn't like taylor playing darts doesn't like darts

Re: Taylor A Disgrace?
We get threads like this after every tournament on every forum.
Taylors problem is he hasnt got the charisma and sharp wittedness of Bristow so people dont realise what his game is. He is a master at the mind games and getting under players skin which his interviews are desighned to do. With darts primary aspect being the mental side of the game the interviews could be just as important as the games and are an extension of the actual matches for Taylor and before him his mentor Bristow. A thread analysing Taylor interviews and how he approaches different players would be far more interesting than incessant bickering thinking he's an arrogant, patronising cunt for no reason.
When he retires we'l see a totally different character and person on tv.

Taylor isn't what I would call a likeable person it makes a differance.
Re: Taylor A Disgrace?
If Taylor was just an average player down the rankings, this thread would never have been started.
We have a bad habit in the UK of slagging off our champions. The British love to try and cut them down to size.
Taylor's post or pre-match interviews are quite modest when compared to Bristow's. Yes, he does play mind games as he believes it helps him to out-psyche other players. Nothing wrong with that. Generally he is quite nice in his comments about other players and if he doesn't stand still while his opponent is presented with his trophy/cheque, it's usually because he likes to get the board away as a charitable gesture.
