I'm glad this major news (whatever it is) has been pre-announced, wouldn't want any Lincs county players to suffer a medical condition if it's just sprung on them without prior warning over the weekend...

Lincolnshire County Darts are proud to announce, that it will now offer sponsorship to all, and any of its County players including reserves, to participate in the BDO tour, this will include UK and international events.
Lincolnshire County Darts believe, we are the first, and only County to offer sponsorship of this type, to its County players, the idea comes from a belief and confidence in its players.
Lincolnshire County Darts find itself in a very lucrative position, this is due (in part), to an excellent sponsorship deal, and fantastic management, but also from the support given by everyone involved the mighty premier division team.
Lincolnshire County Darts has decided after an executive committee meeting, to invest in its players, the deal that has been offered, will enable many players to attend both national and international events, that they would otherwise not be able to participate in.
This means that not only do Lincolnshire County players, have all County away matches paid for, but now, all tour events paid too.
I myself, am very excited and pleased in the direction that Lincolnshire County Darts is heading, and wish all the very best of luck to all who take advantage of our generous offer.

I'd love to know why they hate us but it is a cracking idea and something for other counties to follow

The reason other counties don't do it is because it costs a bomb.

What's your issue Nick? They are spending their money on darts, no problem here surely? My only point is that not every county is going to be in a similar situation to be effectively giving money away.

So let me get this right, the county could potentially be paying for 36 players to travel uk and europe competing in BDO ranked events? hahahaha this will last long. Not unless they have a bottomless pit full of 50 pound notes!
This is right out the Walter Mitty hand book of darts promoting.
