He did it during MvGs throw! Thats my main problem.craigmc wrote:I don't see it that way. Seems I'm in minority but I can live with that.was his clap thing with the crowd over the top? Probably but I wasn't offended by it as a player or viewer.his words at end were well put together and brutally honest.dont think he complained about result and was credit to himself.in my opinion
Re: PDC World Matchplay Blackpool 16th-24th July 2016 Discussion
General gist:
That Taylor was of course not happy getting some of his own medicine re: being under pressure from the start.
Asked what he thought of his tactics with the crowd etc.
They all do everything to beat me so no surprise that Taylor is now doing it.
I will try and do a proper transcript tomorrow.

I'm not sure mvg would even have realised he was doing that? But yes ideally it wouldn't happen but saying that as far as pdc events go the crowd were tame.as Taylor said Darts has changed and sky and the volume of money involved has done this but the players involved are still working class types and most are fairly simple guys I'd say.you see niggle at local level for a tiny amount of brass it's just the same but on a huge scaleslymaster wrote:He did it during MvGs throw! Think that final was the worst advert for darts at the moment.
Re: PDC World Matchplay Blackpool 16th-24th July 2016 Discussion
I'd say lakeside or wdt take that hands down.think many just Taylor bashing .2 players averaging 100 plus in a final and many class games along way bit of gamesmanship from both yet hankey doesn't offend some or Scott bloody dog dawdling back after every throw.worst advert for darts? I must have tuned into different programme.

If you don't like people celebrating winning legs in darts don't watch or play the game
Re: PDC World Matchplay Blackpool 16th-24th July 2016 Discussion

Re: PDC World Matchplay Blackpool 16th-24th July 2016 Discussion
Marble loves Taylor he would NEVER criticise him.

Re: PDC World Matchplay Blackpool 16th-24th July 2016 Discussion
What a crap final, one fat idiot trying to upstage a bald one, the sooner he slips out of the top sixteen the better. During the presentation Taylor was running around like a demented schoolboy trying to grab MVG's limelight.......... Get over it Phil........you ain't the best no more.
"What a Fecking Catastrophe!!"
Re: PDC World Matchplay Blackpool 16th-24th July 2016 Discussion
Enjoyed the tournament, shame about Phil's little tantrums in the final. Could have done without that nonsense.
Re: PDC World Matchplay Blackpool 16th-24th July 2016 Discussion
I didn't think what Taylor did was actually THAT bad during the match. Lets face it MVG is a dick throughout every single game. Shouldn't be pratting round during the other players throw of course but with PDC crowds i really dont see what difference it makes if they make a bit more noise than they already do.
The stopping and waiting for MVG was just pure desperation and trying to find excuses but it didn't last.
However, the presentation was incredibly embarrassing. He really did make a complete idiot of himself during that. The funniest part was where he was when he was inspecting the back wall of the set in the middle of it and MVG was just staring at him. Proper losing the plot.

Re: PDC World Matchplay Blackpool 16th-24th July 2016 Discussion
Taylor was an embarrassment last night, but so was MVG in my opinion. If he is going to be going around accusing "every" player of doing "whatever" it takes to beat him then that just makes him Taylor light from circa 2004.
